Phoebe Philo’s first collection of eponymous lapels. Style notes: given the devil wears prada 2 Manhattan was set and filmed in Manhattan, so it’s no surprise that Andy’s costumes pay homage to up-and-coming and established Manhattan-based designers. Andy looked like he’d just stepped off a Greyhound bus from a seemingly weekend on Long Island, and returned to town with a kaleidoscopic Gabriella Hearst maxi and a Fendi crochet bag. As someone who has traded labels for bylines, it’s a pretty bold move to have her wear something as ostentatious as a £19,000 Marlo Raz necklace around her neck, but what’s the harm in a little sartorial fantasy?
