Ultimately, what is really important? For Edel and Liam, it’s about calming down the old score, sharing a final laugh, finding a vulnerable harmony in the moment they leave behind.
It was finalized for the 2020 Popcorn Awards. Denouement A soft, interesting and keenly observed love story by John Morton, which comes to us Main Stage this October.
The Edel and Liam era, set in 2048, are numbered, but are not proceeding quietly. Between conflict, heartfelt confessions and stubborn differences, they together navigate the issues of life big and small.
Both touching, irrational and funny, this is the story of an ordinary couple facing extraordinary circumstances, reminding us that love has a way of feeling human even in the most strangest situations.
The lyrics are proud of the world premiere Denouement As part of this year Belfast International Art Festival. starring Anna Healy and Patrick Okane, It’s an interesting, moving, dark comic take on what remains when everything else is stripped of.
Edel and Liam’s combination of humor, integrity and decades of shared history shine a light on the resilience of the human mind, even at the very end. This will remain with you long after the curtains fall.
