Beauty products testing and reviews are literally listed in my job description. So I know what’s going forward before it’s announced to the public. Let’s tell you that summer 2025 is definitely killing it in the make-up department. Watercolor painting! French tan drop! Lip balm infused with chili peppers! Creating a dreamy, sun-kissed beat has never been gone funthat’s exactly how makeup should make you feel: inspiration, creative and ready to play. I even had several friends ah and ah I’d like to know which strolling ceremony is really worth the salt in the past few weeks on my cosmetic bag. My response? All of them – but I’ll keep this list on Tidy 12.
Below, discover some old-fashioned stubborns I couldn’t resist calling, along with new (ISH) products that absolutely deserve a place for your daily makeup routine.
My favorite makeup staples for the summer of 2025

Now, this is not technically a makeup product, but you can’t ignore how these patches are plump and moisturizing. Many eye masks claim to have impressive puff power, but I have not yet come across doing it like Dior. Filled with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and pure caffeine, the comma-shaped swish dials down inflammation and liquid retention in just 10 minutes.
Yes, $84 for 5 pairs is a bit steep, but trust me, your eye under the markedly bright eyes will need less concealer later. That alone is worth splurge. Plus, with their Dior Logomania pattern, they become the chic eye patches you own. period.

sothys
Self-tanning additive
Here are some of the secrets of summer makeup: Do everything you can to minimize the number of products (and therefore sweaty layers) on your face. Inspired by the effortless Saint-Tropestan, enter these tan drops. (Surprising.) They are adjustable, easy to use, fragrance-free and French, so essentially the sparkle of the Cote Joules in the bottle. With just two drops of my daytime moisturizer, I gradually turn bronze colour, appearing to be back from oooo for two weeks.

Westman Atelier
Sun tone bronze drop
Whenever I crave more bronze – I reach for these liquid bronze drops from Westman Atelier. Please try these, people. They are really very good. They technically returned in February, but somehow managed to try me until this summer. Celebrity Makeup Artist Giraffe Batty Initially, it inspired me by celebrating their easy, constructable blends, but now I honestly don’t know how long I’d lived if they weren’t my routine. They have a gorgeous matte finish that perfectly mimics the way the sun warms the boundaries of your face (glitter tends to sacrifice faithfulness).
Words to the Sage: Apply a few drops to the back of your hand and mix well with a brush before dodging it to your cheekbones or hairline. This results in the most realistic sun kiss.

Chantecailles
Future Skin Oil-Free Foundation
Here’s the most moist foundation you’ll ever come across. Water-based gel confectionery is very nourishing, so if you close your eyes, I swear it’s a moisturizer. that’s right How fresh and elastic my skin is while I wear it. It also infused with plant-based retinol alternatives, which actually improves the skin over time. (I know that a ton of makeup products make this claim, but I can prove that it’s not just marketing.) It’s one of the foundations that you really don’t know where your natural skin ends and your makeup starts.

Victoria Beckham Beauty
Color wash
Watercolor makeup is like that that This summer. I don’t want to sweat and blend it violently. I want to create pigments on my skin, like a soft landscape painting. Victoria Beckham Beauty’s color wash is a flagship feature with a water-based tint and a diffuse skin finish. Don’t let them choose your favorite color! Each light skin-loving formula is the winner. But Vintage Roses earns bonus points to infuse my routine with romance.

Summer Friday
Blushing butter balm
I’ll wash the colours with Friday Friday blushing butter balm (my go-to soft strawberries) and thank you later. The constructable cream pigment adds enough punch to the juicy flash, and formulas rich in ceramides, peptides, and fatty acids were actually made in the summer. I swear I’ll look even better after sweating. Summer Fridays know one or two things about shining textures ( Lip Butter Balm Nailing the bite-free finish, the brand’s first Brush Balms checks the box thoroughly. They are an absolute joy to apply.

The beauty of Armani
Bright Silk Aqua Highlighter
Whenever you want to create “angel makeup” (i.e., sparkling, shiny lid and ether, bright skin), reach for this liquid highlighter. Shade halos (translucent pearls) have the perfect glass-covered effect, not too sparkly. It just makes you appear to be radiating from within. I layer it over my eyeshadow and immediately give it a wet lid effect, pop it on my cheekbones to catch the light, then follow under the eyelash line at the bottom to mimic the simplicity of tears.

Tom Ford
Lights the shade and cream contour duo
No, I won’t be silent about this creamy contour highlight duo. At this point I noticed that I’m recommending three bronzeware products, but it’s summer. After creating a base kissing the sun with Sothy’s self-tanner and Westman Atelier Liquid Bronzer, I’d like to apply this award-winning Tom Ford number under my cheekbones to carve more of the bone structure. All you need for a prominent lift is a tap. Bonus: On the day I abandon my eyeshadow, I like to blend the contours on the lid. For a subtle definition.

Knowledge
Daylash defined by lifting mascara
I will be a brown mascara girl forever. Softer shades give my lashes enough bliss Without making me look “finished.” Versed’s conditioning Vitamin E infusion helps ensure a natural eyelash appearance every time. This is because it has a slim, tapered wand that ensures optimal coverage from the root to the tip while preventing clumps. That is the definition of “no-mascara” mascara.

I used a piece of art (pinney toop) to the nub. Currently working through my second favorite shade, checkout (warm roses). I’ve tested hundreds of lip liners at this point, but nothing strengthens my mouth like this Tower 28 number. The matte non-dry finish makes it the top level for contouring your lips. Overlining Cupid’s bow, a friend of mine thought I might have just gotten a lip filler (true story!). Billy Eilish may have made it viral when she used it for her Gram before the showBut I’ve been defending this Rippie year.

Aora Makeup
AcarÃciame Más Volume Solid Lip Serum
I’ve tried a fair share of spicy lip plumpers so trust me when I say this volumizer is a real deal. I injected five (yes, 5) Mexican chili. The formula certainly brings some heat and shiny bee mouths in subtle cherry tints – ancho, habanero, guazillo, serrano, de albor – the formula certainly brings some heat and sings.
Please note: This is stabbed, but I’m the person I like ( desire)That feeling of a lip plumper. For those who may be hesitant to try a formula with thin chili peppers, don’t worry. It also comes with peppermint oil and hyaluronic acid for a hydrated cooling sensation. Both of these players will lead to plumper’s lips over time. The former is due to increased blood circulation, and the latter is due to moisture build-up in the top layer of the skin. Think of this as a lip balm that will enhance your bloating from any angle.

Isamaya
Lip Metal – Thin Metallic Balm
I was lucky enough to see the iconic makeup artist Isamaya ffrench Create a full face beat within 5 minutes (during heat waves, less than that!), her secret is: Just a few sculptures. Shiny high point; and a touch of colour on the lips. In that last bit, her pure metallic balm is just a god, offering her lips subtle colours and rainbow spots. My favorite is Acid Cherry. AcidCherry is a metal plum that is easy to build but is sufficient to wear all year round. Just a swipe and you can quickly put it together, even on a day when you’re rocking your completely naked face.
