I’ve heard of you my Petite and plus size Curvy fashionista. Comments, Facebook and Twitter! You are looking to shop for shopping that is adjusted just for your curves and your height.
Finding two that coexist can sometimes pull frustrating hair… Since the original post, we’ve added a new contributor, Style Cass, to help with these posts, and have shared her tips, style inspiration, and what we’ve found for you!
However, there are some places that offer, deliver and are extremely accessible! These three combinations are all!
You might search a bit, but I’ve messed up some options for you to play and play while you’re there!
8 places to buy petite and plus size
Talbot
The style offering is a bit more conservative and classic, but Talbot offers a full lifestyle plus size offering, especially for 12wp-24wp closet wardrobe staples.
Lane Bryant
Lane Bryant in Denim and Trousers has a dedicated section on the site for its plus sized petite products. I’ve never seen a dress or jacket here, but I know there are a few options here while you shop there!
One Stop Plus
Avenue, Woman In In, Roaman’s, Jessica London and One Stop Plus offer a variety of options in petite plus size fashion, including jackets, trousers, denim and dresses.
It’s simply
Did you know that they simply have a dedicated selection of petite plus size fashion on their site? It’s one of the most fashion forward selections I’ve seen at a wallet-friendly price! Yeah! Take a peek!
End of the Land:
If you’re looking for some great job essentials, you’ll find a great fit and classic silhouette at the end of the land. I really love this herringbone blazer on offer here!
Eshakti
I recently shared my customization experience with Eshakti in my latest personal style post! Almost every item on the site will be adjusted to fit sizes and heights up to 36W!
Macy’s
Macy’s offers private label brands, Inc, charter clubs, and several other brands in a variety of styles in Petite Plus sizes. From jackets, coats, denim and trousers – Macy’s offers a variety of options to get you started.
Evans
The range can be limited in the pants and denim collection, but one thing I really like about this site is that it has two different petite plus size lengths.
Some tips:
- Become a best friend with a tailor – This is not just about “pearl” women, it’s about women, it’s the era. Taylors can make a $10 dress look like a 100 with the perfect fit!
- Patterns and prints can also be swayed! I’ve heard some of you say “I’m petite” and I can’t wear it as an excuse… no! Check the scale and placement! It’s about where you catch your eye and where you want to leave!
- Do not shorten a pair of pants – If you have done this in the past and wondered why they don’t look the same, this is because carving them will change the entire line of your leg. If you have them adjusted, make sure you’re describing the shape of the entire pants!
- Dress and jacket – This is a difficult area, especially if you want a specific style. Pay attention to where the waist is emphasized and the length here! If you’re lucky enough to have a great tailor, you’re fine. Regardless of style, tailors are your best friend here!
There are a few other sites that make some options, but I wanted to share with you the wide range of items you shop for.
