My attention has changed to cool months as Al Fresco’s dinner and sun-soaked days are officially behind us. As a fashion editor, I have been able to get my first glimpse into this season’s collection back to the beginning of this year, and since then I have secretly counted the layers, cozy knitwear and soft coats back to everyday. In my office yesterday I realized that I wasn’t alone in this. My fellow editors are also ready to reunite with a precious winter purchase and are already planning a new season of wardrobe. Surrounded by such a stylish bunch, I thought I would tap the experts for the top pieces of their winter wish list.
As a group, we all have our own personal style. To bring refined charm, he leaned against the shapes of the sculpture and finer details to devote his wardrobe to refined minimalism. Others are masters of prints and patterns, pulling bold styles seamlessly to show maximum status. And in the meantime there are people who place color palettes and textures before every outfit decision. But one thing that holds us back is our approach to shopping. New additions are thoughtfully considered, overwhelmed by the longevity in our wardrobe, and styling options and seasonality are considered before checking out. Here, each bookmarked for the season was done through a series of checks to ensure that it was a valuable addition, regardless of price. Now we have a very advanced compilation of new season purchases worth watching.

I bought a Rebecca pick:
Diotima
Marcus Wool Turtle Blazer
“I’ve had a tailored wool coat for a long time, but this season I’m in the market for shorter options. I love the silhouette of this, the way I finish just below my waist.
Dara
Twisted Alley Hurricane Jeans
“Darla is one of my favorite denim brands. I’ve been looking at this pair of jeans for a while, and I’m very obsessed with running back and forth through the details of these almost jeans.
Monica Vinader
Sterling Silver Aria Cord Necklace
“If the shell pendants appear to reign at its best in the summer, I feel that the winter alternative is a more sculptural style, using ropes, natural stones and organically shaped metals.

I bought a poppy pick:
róhe
Mandarin Double Face Wool Jacket
“I’m a summer girl so I always have a hard time dressing in autumn and winter. Every year I try to make a high staple wardrobe that will look at me through the cold months. This year I’m focusing on this gorgeous wool jacket from Roge. Massimo Dutti has a similar style of shirt shape. This is a great option.”
” Speaking of jeans, I have to desperately invest in a new pair this season, because everything I have now is too big, too small, or too waning. Like most people, Denim’s shopping finds daunting, but I’ve heard some great things about COS’ arch jeans.
Le Monde Beryl
Luna Slipper / Ecru Leather
“There’s a soft spot for what my boyfriend calls ‘silly shoes’. These are not the most practical color choices, but they are undoubtedly chic and anyone who said my winter shoes look classy can change these shoes! ”

Shopping Natalie’s Pick:
cos
Leather gloves lined with cashmere
“Gloves are not only a practical addition when the weather inevitably cools, but also an elegant finish when constructed with supple leather.
Damson Madder
Marissa Sia Midi Dress – Multi Check
“The rising trend of check prints in autumn is expected to become itself this winter, and Damson Mudder’s rather long-sleeved dresses are difficult to wear in the past. Wearing them on their own, they’ll stand up to a fair day and well laid out with chunky knits and biker boots that keep the weather cool.”
Paris Texas
Jane Leather Knee Boots
“A little western, a little leaning forward, these block heel boots offer everything you’re looking for in winter shoes, and I often wear them in mid-lengths and mini dresses.
I bought a Marina pick:
cos
Knit Alpaca Blend T-shirt
“The moment I slid through this alpaca blend tea I felt cocotted with softness. The wool drape feels luxurious, but it feels light. I pair it easily with everything from tailored trousers to denim.
reform
Gail Satin Mid Rise Bias Pants
“You rarely find these easy yet elegant pants, but these satin bias cut pants nail it. The mid-rice sits comfortably, and the fabric gives a beautiful, scuffy look on your body.
nour hammour
Suede trench coat with tate belt
“With this belted suede trench, it feels like armor in the chicest way. The warm suede tone and tailored wrap silhouette give it a moment’s presence. I can’t wait to wear it over my black jeans or slip dresses.

Shopping Sophie’s Picks:
whistle
Beautiful brown bonded leather jacket
“Whistle has returned the bestselling clean bonded leather jacket to a rich brown tint. It has a charm that will surprise wealth and is coming for the upcoming season. I’m teaming up with dark jeans and biker boots.”
“Ruby Yazmin is an emerging brand you need to know now. This Dalmatian print is very chic and the waist details look very luxurious. Combined with leather jackets, white tees and ballet flats, this season is a perfect show stopping. ”
Charles & Keith
Gale scattered crossover straps Bow Mary Janes
“A fair bit and practical part, these Charles and Keith ballet flats are back with me this season. We really live in the ballet flat era. These are the perfect finishers for any look, whether it’s jeans, skirts, floor-length dresses.”
Shop Florie’s Picks:
Bottega Beta
Black woman campana
“Bottega Veneta has rebooted one of the 2025 Heritage Bags, Campana. The sweet everyday style features the brand’s iconic intrectia art leather, and now comes in two sizes and a variety of chic shades.
toteme
Double Sleeve Turtleneck Champagne
“My knitwear collection is looking for a modern update, and Toteme’s new style checks all boxes. The buttery yellow tint brings a fun new palette to my wardrobe, while the cool design brings a humble turtleneck and a tied knit look at the waist.”
Rix
Millie – Bohemia Leopard
“I spent the last year thinking about this sophisticated leopard print coat, and finally I’m ready to make it mine. As someone who wears many neutrals, this coat is ready to revitalize my wardrobe for a cool period, bringing elegance to its classic design and long silhouette.”
Ava Gilchrist
I bought an Ava pick:
Proenza Schurer
Rainy leather jacket
“I have a confession. I think leather jackets are especially difficult to shop when buying online. This soft Proenza Shuler style as butter solved all my hard work.
Ganni
Leather Trimmed Canvas – Jackyard Ballet Flat
“Now I’m a solid anti-liner person, but that doesn’t mean I won’t invest in chic and practical flat winters. This square toe shape from the cool girl label in Copenhagen checks both boxes.
“Khaki pants have become the most in-demand trouser trend of the year. I ride the waves with this water-winded pair from my beloved Melbourne-based label Henne.
Junior Brand Content Editor Humaa Hussain
I bought a Humaa pick:
arket
Double Wool Blend Blazer
“Blazers are my staple food all year round, but this wool one with a wool scarf will definitely be the real MVP of my winter wardrobe.”
toteme
Bevel Suede Bag Black
“I was looking for a good suede tote, and Toteme really delivered this season. It’s big enough for my laptop, diary, makeup bag, keys and wallet, and I still have a room.”
Doen
Clark Fair Isle Wool Blend Cardigan
“I don’t have a winter wardrobe without a fair island sweater, and my current wardrobe has seen that day, so I need this chic cream from Doen.”
