cloud dancer
If I had to suggest just one shoe color to invest in this season, it would definitely be a gentle, mellow, soft white. After all, Pantone named its 2026 Color of the Year Cloud Dancer. White shoes were ubiquitous on the Spring/Summer ’26 runways, and were spotted in a variety of silhouettes, from slim to slim. Celine Derby sneakers, Stella McCartney high vamps, Saint Laurent slingbacks. White shoes have been everywhere in fashion this season, and there’s no doubt that white shoes will continue to dominate as we head into summer.

tomato red
Vibrant primary colors dominated the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, including bright and bold reds. This color is incredibly versatile (it looks just as good with blue jeans as it does with summery whites or neutral grays and beiges) and is perfect for enhancing your basics. We saw a lot of red heels in the spring collections, but most notable on the fashion set are the tomato colors being worn in the form of cool sneakers and ballet pumps.

light blue
If there’s one thing the designer’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection tells us, it’s that blue is the it color of the year, from saturated cobalt blues to subtle icy blues. We saw shoes in various shades of blue, but one that particularly caught our attention is a fairly pale powdery blue shade. Sandals, pumps, sneakers, etc. This more muted hue allows for versatility and easy styling, and pairs well with both neutrals and bold colors.

beige
Beige may not sound very exciting, but the Spring 2026 collection felt like there was a direction towards neutral hues. It’s not just a color that blends in. Designer Matthieu Blazy Chanel made a strong statement with chic two-tone beige globe pumps. This style has already been seen being bought in droves by fashion insiders since its launch.
