As fall approaches, I’m looking back at last year’s trends to see what will be making a comeback this season. As we all know, trends come and go, and some even make the odd comeback, but there are some trends that we’re ready to say goodbye to in 2024.

As a beauty editor, I want to know what the fall hair trends team is thinking Who What Wear UK What hairstyles are you giving up this season? And what will you replace them with? So we decided to hear from you and round up some of the most “outdated” hair trends for fall, along with some super-fresh alternatives.

As always, I truly believe that beauty is about trying whatever makes you feel good. Pause: Plum Tone

Worn Color: Cherry Red

According to Who What Wear UKAccording to Eleanor Vosden, beauty editor at , this fall we’ll be swapping out our usual dark plum tones for a bolder cherry red. “Purple is popular every fall, but cherry red tones are on trend right now, so I’m excited to try something new.”

Copy editor Georgia Seago is swapping out her claw clips for French pins this fall, and it’s easy to see why. “Not only are French pins a great way to hold your hair in place, they also add an elegant touch to your look,” Seago explains. With silver accessories expected to be on trend this fall, we think many will prefer silver hair pins over the classic claw clips.

I will try to reproduce this as soon as possible.
