If you ask me and my colleagues Angelica Zdzienicki If you ask me what is my absolute must-have piece of clothing, the answer is simple: any denim. No matter the season, when I open my closet, I reach for denim. Trends come and go, but denim is long-lasting and versatile, so I can count on it. As fall approaches, I’m trying to come up with cool denim outfits that I can wear for all my fall activities. “I’m a lover of baggy denim and have been wanting to get in on the barrel jeans trend for a while, so when I saw the Falcon Grey colorway of We the Free’s Good Luck Mid-Rise Barrel Jeans, I knew now was the time for me to step in! These pants are the perfect statement pant and have a super flattering fit. I paired them with a simple long-sleeve tee, Janey engineer boots, and an Emerson tote bag for a chic yet edgy vibe. Now I have my favorite cool-girl uniform ready for the new season.” Angelica Zdzienicki, Social Media Strategist
While classic jeans might seem like the obvious choice for a denim outfit, I opted for a denim jacket. It’s perfect for layering as summer transitions into fall, and the dropped shoulders give it an effortless shape. I paired it with cream corduroy barrel pants for a cool, neutral vibe. (FYI, these pants have an amazingly comfortable fit and I’ve recommended them to everyone I know.) To finish off the look, I added texture with leather pointed-toe boots and a slouchy bag. This outfit is perfect for a day out with friends or for any concerts you’ll be attending this fall.
“I always get compliments when I wear my drop boyfriend jeans. Not only are they stylish, but they’re also super comfortable. To keep it simple, I paired them with a cozy cardigan and a black studded belt. The red shoes really pop. Whether I’m apple picking or going out to dinner, this style always works for me.” Zdzienicki
If you ask Angelica, she’ll agree that it’s rare to see me in anything but flare jeans, so the Level Up Slit Slim Flare Jeans from We the Free immediately caught my attention. I kept my styling to a minimum, opting for a cute and super soft Pointelle Baby T-shirt and some square-toed ankle boots. Luckily, it’s never too cold in the fall in Los Angeles, so I know that as long as my feet are warm, I’ll be fine. But if the temperature drops, do As fall approaches, this outfit makes a great basic look as it can be layered with a sweater or oversized jacket.
