Sabrina Carpenter’s latest album, “Man’s Best Friend,” has been released. Attendance with the launch is a bold, visually striking video of the album’s second single, “Tears,” highlighting the vibrant image and her trademark Sharp Wit.
In the song “Tears,” she sings. The music video features Colman Domingo in a playful “Rocky Horror” style homage. It shows Carpenter has arrived at a remote house, but is only greeted by a cast of quirky characters, including Domingo, dressed in drugs.
“Man’s Best Friend” Carpenter’s seventh studio album includes 12 tracks, with 10 marked explicit. This coincides with the album’s provocative cover art. This depicts a carpenter on her hands and knees, with someone pulling her blonde hair down a handful of her hair.
“The album is not for the faint heart,” Carpenter told Gale King. “But I also believe that even more modest people can hear it personally and find moments when they grin and giggle.”
Before the album’s release, Carpenter featured on his single “Manchild.” This became her first song to debut at number one on the US song charts. She previously won number one on “Please Please Please Please” from her Grammy Award-winning album “Short N’Sweet.”
After completing a tour supporting “Short and Suite” earlier this year, Carpenter is set to pave the way again from October, with performances at the Austin City Limit Music Festival. She will also host upcoming shows in Lollapalooza Chile, Argentina and Brazil next year.
