One year after release of Duck Detective: Secret SalamiHappy Broccoli Games dropped a standalone sequel Glamping ghostand it’s as interesting and full of twists as the first game!
in Glamping ghostplayers chase detective Eugene McKeelin on a glamping trip with roommate Freddie at a ghost campsite. Still upset from divorce and bread addiction, he’s not excited about the trip, but his roommate really doesn’t give him any choice, so he starts another 2-3 hours of mystery game!
Instead of peace and tranquility, the two encounter creepy events, a quirky campervan, and a full-fledged mystery that separates Eugene from his emotional funk and returns him straight back to detective mode. where Secret Salami Focusing on the entangled relationships of office settings; Glamping ghost Take a completely different approach. It’s a bunch of strangers thrown together in a creepy place with no cell signals and too many secrets.
From broken backpackers to well-maintained influencers, I live in VIP tents, but all the characters are fun and well written. And Freddie is technically there to meet his new girlfriend (yes, Eugene tragically becomes the third circle), but the heart of the game is still Eugene.
The mystery you have to solve first is hilarious to find out who Freddie is dating. Of course, Eugene is dectress about it, but along the way you learn a lot about the other camp gopers.
There are mother and child duo, influencers, assistants, creepy guys who seem to be there for reasons, and of course camp staff. From the office setting, we switch to a place where no one really knows each other (at least at first glance), leading to a fun change in tone, with Eugene spreading her wings in a fresh story structure so to speak.

Ghost of Glamping Play it the same way as the first one. Inspect the object, interview suspects, collect words and fill out “deductions” to advance the mystery. but Glamping ghost Add some new mechanisms that mix well enough to feel fresh, such as simple code breaks and handwritten analysis. There’s also a hint system if you’re stuck, and a clean UI that lets you easily track what’s new and where you need to go next.
I played it in about 90 minutes (although I read quickly and had it in story mode), but I didn’t feel it was missing anything. If anything, it’s more focused, streamlined, great pacing, and no single useless scenes and clues. Every moment is important. And yes, you can still knock on the garbage can. (Why is it so satisfying?) Don’t forget to check your water sources for results!

One thing I really appreciate is that you don’t have to play Secret Salami To enjoy this. Like a new episode of your favorite crime show, it’s completely standalone and while the characters return, it won’t be lost if this is Eugene’s first case. Just like in the first game, the only part that didn’t land completely for me is the light touch of the world building around the geopolitical tensions of this duck universe. Do you summarise this detail and what you learned in the first one to create a big picture? But most of the time I want a complete explanation and why it matters.
Then there’s the ending of the cliffhanger (no spoilers here). I hope to get the third one next year!
You can play Duck Detective: Glamping’s Ghost today steamIt also supports Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X | S, and Linux and Mac! If Happy Broccoli games continue to make more of these strange and amazing mysteries, I’m lined up first every time. Please give me 10 more cases. Eugene deserves it.
