James Matthew Wilson’s new cycle of poetry, River in the Immaculate Conceptfrom Juan Diego to Elizabeth ann Seton, reflects the history of Catholic faith in the Americas. Its title is the name given to the Mississippi River by missionary Fr. Marquette. James reads four of the seven poems, explains the recent relationship with the American masses that influenced them, and discusses the challenges and joys of poetic forms.
