The indie rock trio The Duskwhales was formed almost a decade ago at a small Catholic high school in Virginia. Over that decade, four albums, three EPS fakes a distinctly melodic sound, in contrast to today’s Joyless Pop Milieu. Their vocal harmonies listen to the Beatles and Beach Boys, and the organ’s heavy instruments (there are no bass players in live shows) set them apart from modern rock bands. In the last decade of career retrospective, they discuss the musical output so far, the importance of friendship and faith in their survival as a band, the loss of modern pop music melodies and retro clones. You listen to clips from their eclectic discography, including their new EP, I’ll get it back.

Duskwhales is Seth Flynn (vocals, guitar), Brian Majewski (keyboards, vocals), and Chris Baker (drums, vocals). All music used with permission.
