Thomas discusses his libertarian past, explains why he abandoned his political philosophy, and summarises an article on topics by Catholic philosopher Edward Feather. Feather himself is a former libertarian who wrote books on Hayek, Nozic and Locke, claiming that the libertarian view of self-ownership and rights to private property cannot be reconciled with classical natural law theory, building an appropriate natural law theory of the rights and taxation of private property.
