in tag teamselect 2 of the 12 fighters available. Each has their own deck and plays differently. You will then fight one other person who also has two fighters. As you play cards from your deck, you move from round to round adding cards. Adding cards is done strategically to strengthen the deck and place cards in better positions. You win the game by knocking out one or more fighters by reducing your health points until other fighters are knocked out.

Choose your fighter –
You can start drafting your fighters by getting all the draft cards and dealing 6 to each player. Each player chooses one fighter from those cards, passes the rest to the other player, and then chooses a second fighter from those cards. Then set up the board and return all draft cards and unused fighter boards to the box.
Of course, you can choose your favorite fighter, opt for a more competitive draft, or even choose a recommended starting fighter: Joao and Ching Xi vs. Bodvar and Wong Fei-hong.
First, take the starting cards for both fighters and decide which one to stack on top of the other to begin forming the battle deck. All other cards for both fighters are then shuffled together. You can continue the game by fighting. Step, followed by Build! step.

Fight Step –
In the fight step, you and the other players simultaneously flip over the top card and perform the action indicated on that card. This includes attacking, blocking, gaining power, or special effects. After these actions are performed, the next card is flipped over and placed face up on top of the previously played card. The game starts with two cards, but you slowly build your deck to do more. Once you have reviewed all the cards, pick them up without shuffling them.
The flipped card indicates which fighter each player is activating and becomes the default target for each other’s attacks. Icons indicate your partner or enemy partner with a certain effect.

Build steps –
In the construction step, you take the top three cards from your other cards, choose one to add to your combat deck, and place the remaining two on the bottom of your other combat cards. You can add cards to your deck without changing the order of cards already in your deck. That is, you can add cards between cards, at the top or bottom of the deck, but you cannot move other cards. So you can play the same cards in the same order and use new cards to potentially change where you can add something of value.
You win the game if any of your opponent’s fighters’ health markers are down to the KO spot at the end of the turn. If at least one fighter from both teams is KO’d, it will be a draw. If they fail to draw three cards, the fighter is exhausted and the game ends in a draw.
There are many more details in the game, many of which vary by fighter. Overall, you need to know your fighter’s strengths and try to make the most of them.

tag team Overall exceeds expectations. If you only think about the game’s components and ideas, you won’t fully understand what the game has to offer. It’s very easy to learn and play. We discovered this because my 8 and 10 year old were able to pick it up as quickly as I did. But the idea combined with the game’s mechanics makes it comfortable for just about anyone to pick up and play. Now, each fighter plays differently, so it bends a little bit as you move from each fighter.
But the fact that you can have different experiences with different fighters makes the game even better. Depending on who you choose for your team and who your opponents choose, you will have a different experience.
tag team It itself features a rock-paper-scissors guessing game where you adjust your deck by adding new cards. At the same time your opponents are adjusting as well, they try to play better cards. You want to save your best attacks for a while, and other players want to block those attacks. On the one hand, you want to block their biggest attacks and fill them with other cards you have to set up options for you.

I really like being able to tweak the deck and try to make it better each round. Although they remain relatively the same, one card can make the whole system better or worse in order, so keep both things in mind.
Most cards activate a default fighter to attack, but there are ways to focus your attacks on specific fighters. But overall, you need to learn about fighters and how to use them in a beneficial way. This is different for each fighter, and it’s up to you to understand each fighter’s playstyle, as well as the synergies between them, and how to use them against the two opposing fighters.
This game can evolve with new characters and new special features for fighters. And I’m sure Scorpion Mask will continue to grow this combat system. So if you like fighting games that combine ways to combo and create systems that you can master, this is definitely the game you want to try. This game captures the excitement of a real fighting game, setting it apart from other similar style games.
