The lead story, in which Spider-Man and Superman join forces, will be written by New York Times bestselling author Brad Meltzer in his first full-length novel for Marvel Comics, and illustrated by one of Marvel’s most acclaimed artists, Pepe Larraz. Additionally, this one-shot features a variety of bonus stories co-starring Marvel and DC characters from a stellar line-up of industry talent, including some surprises that readers will be talking about for the next 50 years.
Here’s what you can expect:
· Brad Meltzer and Pepe Larraz team up with Lex Luthor and the Green Goblin, and the two biggest villains exploit their biggest weaknesses!
· Spider-Man Noir meets Golden Age superheroes in the dark 1930s, as told by Dan Slott and Marcos Martin
· Local Silver Age fetishist Geoff Johns delivers his first Marvel story in over 20 years, teaming up with frequent collaborator Gary Frank to write a story involving Mysterio
· Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman reunite as Jane Foster plays Thor, Wonder Woman and more as a new kingdom war breaks out and a horde of symbiotes invades Metropolis.
· STEEL co-creator Louise Simonson and artist Todd Noke craft the story of John Henry Irons and his conflict with the Hobgoblin.
· the current amazing spiderman Writer Joe Kelly and artist Humberto Ramos deliver a campus crossover between Gwen Stacy and Lana Lang.
Miles Morales teams up with Superman in a story by Miles co-creators Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli, who recently made a grand return to Marvel.
