Samia produced the new album with co-producers Caleb Wright and Jake Lupen, and frequent songwriting partners Christian Lee Hutson and Raffaella. “It’s easier to be what someone else wants when you give as little as possible,” she reflected. “I’ve noticed a pattern in my life where I want to live true to who I am in someone else’s head. It grows much louder when I’m away from it.”
“I have spent the past 20 years unintentionally confusing abstract human concepts with my understanding of God,” Samia added. “The person I became to impress this imaginary persona is inseparable from who I am today. A good part of my personality is based on what I believe men like, whether by observation or hearsay. This album was built around traits and behaviors that were very different from those of other people.
