Many doctrinal ruptures occurred in Catholic life after Vatican II. It does not mean that church magicians are inconsistent with previous teachings, and even the majority of Catholics are conservative, tend to misunderstand these topics. One of the worst examples is how the traditional Church teachings about Jews are forgotten, and many have been given the false impression that Vatican II has changed Catholic teaching.
Theologian and Jewish Gideon Lazare converted to Catholicism and joins a podcast to discuss widely misunderstood and controversial points of the relationship between the church and Jews.
(The views Gideon expresses in this interview are himself, and does not necessarily reflect the views of St. Basil’s Institute, where he is the Institute’s coordinator.)
