Rachika Nayar and Nina Keith Announce Debut Album as Disiniblud, Unveil Single

Composers Rachika Nayar and Nina Keith formed a new duo called Disininblud. Today they announced their project Self-titled debut albumlanding on July 18th via Smugglers Way. Two songs from the record,That’s a change.” (featuring Willie Siegel, Katie Day and Juliana Berwick) and “Blue Rags, Raging Wind” (featuring Amigonee) are out today. Please listen below.

Cause Surrounded as a “non-word conversation” between Nayar and Keith, whom he met four years ago, he embraces mortality, reinvention through destruction, and old wounds that are childlike. It also features contributions from Noriko from Cassandra Croft, June McDoom, Aspidistrafly and Tujiko. ” [of the album] For me it’s like standing together in the depths of our memories, taking into account both the meaningless wonders and atrocities of our life experiences, as we find ways to embrace and protect each other through the process, taking both light and dark.
