“As a child, I grew up with Godzilla movies, and as an adult, the new Avengers reminded me of why I love comics,” Walker said. “The new Avengers iconic character lineup was a beautiful mix of quirky personalities and big adventures that come back every month. I was able to gather Godzilla and the new Avengers and work with characters I’ve loved for a long time for an epic showdown.
“In life, when you’re able to replicate the passions of your childhood as a ‘serious’ adult, you rarely feel better,” Jeanti shared. “By drawing this one shot, I packaged two things I loved in Godzilla and the Avengers when I was younger and put them in a comic book! It was the joy of drawing these pages.
