My Shelfie Makes Tidying Up Entertaining and Fun

While some of the most fun board games have the simplest mechanics and rules, they still make it a really fun time for all kinds of board game players. My Sherfi It appeared from Lucky Duck Games a few years ago, designed by Matthew Dunstan and Phil Walker Harding, and is not a very heavy game. It also makes a great game for people who don’t want the game to learn newer and million rules. I’ve already played it a few times, but I want to pull it out whenever I have a friend.

What is in the box?

My Sherfi Comes with one living room board, four bookshelf displays, 12 general goal cards, 132 item tiles (22 each of six types), 12 personal goal cards, 4 card holders, scoring tokens, 1 first player sheet, 1 endgame token, and 1 bag.

Overall, all the components were great and I had no issues punching the item tiles. However, the first player seat didn’t cooperate for me, so I recommend taking something sharp so that the rest holes in the arms and legs are cut out very well before trying to insert the big pieces. I also liked the bag actually drawing. Sometimes drawstring bags in these games can go wrong!

How’s the play?
Shellfie Living Room Board with Tiles

in My SherfiAll items in the living room are laid out on the floor. In games with three or two players, items will not be placed in three or four dot squares. The Endgame 1 Point Ribbon Token is placed in a Card Box box, two common goal cards are placed near the board, and the Scoring Token is placed in two mountains from the most valuable value based on the number of players.

Each player receives a bookshelf display and one personal target card. Players take 1, 2 or 3 item tiles from the living room and place them in their bookshelf to earn points. However, tiles must be linear and adjacent to each other, at least one side free, and be placed on the same row of shelves.

The game ends when the player completely fills the bookshelves. The player who scores more points at the end wins the game.

Here are four ways to earn points:
Earn points based on your personal goal card. Match 6 items and get 12 points.
Get points from the common goal cards explained at the back of the rulebook.
Gets points for adjacent item tile groups.
Earn 1 point to be the first person to fully fill your bookshelf.

verdict?

What you do is fill your personal bookshelf with the goals of a common player in mind, and that’s a lot of fun! Do you pick up one piece to achieve your personal goal, or do you want to create groups for more points to trigger the end of the turn of other players and take lots of pieces to make the shelves faster?

My Shellfi Player Shelves and Personal Goal Cards

In this example, the player scored 4 points by placing the plant, game and trophy tiles in the right place and earning points for five different groups, 8, 4, 5, 4, and 3 tiles, totaling 24 points.

If you’re a gamer who really likes to think about your choices and many challenging moments now, My Sherfi It’s not a game for you. But I played with friends and siblings. Neither of them played many board games. They picked it up pretty quickly!

I definitely recommend it Get this game If you want something quick and fun, add it to the spin.
