Matt Lillard’s creepy spirits and metal band Ice Nine Kill have announced a collaboration to kill fans of whiskey, horror and music: Horror Wood Reserve.
More than whiskey, the horror wood reserve is a toast to a horror fandom that promotes both eerie spirit and ink, bringing together legends of the genre with one blood-hugging celebration. This release unites ink frontman Spencer Charnus and his longtime friend Matthew Lillard, co-founder of Macaubrie Spirits (Scream, 5 nights at Freddie); Co-founder Justin Ware (bloodsucking bastards).
The collaboration will not only be born for the death of Whiskey, but will also launch Lillard in the “Ink Cinematic Universe,” which will be appearing in the band’s new music video debut in October.
“The Horror Wood Reserve is my favorite thrasher flick liquid soundtrack,” says Charnus. “It tastes like suspense, danger and satisfaction of survival until the credits roll.”
The Horror Wood Reserve Box Set comes in two limited editions that can be collected, Golden Age and Silver Scream. Both sets include a selection of celebrity cocktail recipe cards with a spectacular lineup of killer bottles, Charunus, Lillard and horror icons designed by Michael Cortada in ink with a refined glass topper on ice.
The Golden Age Edition includes all 10 collectible recipe cards and a gentler, cooler solid brass skull stopper custom designed with ink, and retails for $129.99. Silver Scream Edition includes $84.99 for two recipe cards and retail stores. Both editions come in bespoke boxes showing the iconography of “Old Hollywood” from the creepy ink, and include a personal letter of thanks from Chana.
The whiskey itself is outstanding, made with bloody butcher corn, deep crimson kernels and heirloom grains with bold, rustic complexity. For five years at New American White Oak, we offer a slightly dry nutty profile with notes of cinnamon, leather and spices.
Horror Wood Reserve will be available to the public in very limited quantities from 10/9/25, with exclusive pre-sale exclusively for ink psychos, and from 10/7/25 you will find familiar spirits femme club members. Become a member and join the pre-sale or sign up for our mailing list HorrorWoodReserve.com To receive the links you purchase when they are public.
