Before the Queen in Black takes action, Venom and Knull will receive major upgrades.
This summer, HELA will conquer the Marvel Universe with “Queen in Black,” an all-new crossover event derived from the current series. Venom by Al Ewing and Carlos Gomez and newly released Knull Ewing, Tom Waltz, and Juanan Ramirez in a limited series. Ahead of the official announcement of “Queen in Black,” fans can check out upcoming covers for both Venom and Knull that reveal important developments in events, including Mary Jane Watson’s all-new costume that cements her bond with the Venom symbiote, and Knull befitting an all-new power source for the Abyss god.
Stemming from May’s showdown between Peter, MJ, and Venom, Mary Jane’s new costume will debut this June. In the aftermath of death spiralMary Jane Watson and Peter Parker have a long-awaited heart-to-heart…but once the masks are donned, Venom and Spider-Man have some unfinished business. Now that her secret is out, MJ fully embraces her symbiote powers, leading to major changes in Venom and MJ’s bond. (And unfortunately it looks a little worse)
“MJ’s new look represents a ‘leveling up’ of sorts,” Ewing explained. “After her most serious challenge yet as Venom, this means reevaluating her relationship with the symbiote, just in time for an even bigger threat on the horizon.”
on the other hand, Knull #5In the final issue of the series, Knull conquered the Lightforce dimension and left his mark. However, the enemy he thought he had eliminated due to his extreme prejudice has returned with more targets. Meanwhile, the newly crowned Queen in Black, Hela of Asgard, begins to have doubts about her strategy against Knull.
