Marvel Will Explore The MCU Fantastic Four’s History In New Series Of One Shots

In March of this year, the Future Foundation partnered with Marvel Comics to Fantastic Four: First Enemy #1is the first of four additional authorized comic one-shots that recreate the heroics and early adventures of the Fantastic Four, beginning with their encounter with one of New York City’s most notorious villains, the Mad Thinker. Fantastic Four: First Enemy #1 writes fantastic four Written by Dan Slott, illustrated by Mark Buckingham.

Return to the world of Marvel Studios Fantastic Four: First Steps This is the first in a series of quarterly one-off specials throughout 2026, highlighting various characters and moments from the film. On Earth-828, a cosmic accident turns four brave astronauts into champions and protectors of the world. They’re the Fantastic Four, but there’s one person who isn’t happy with things. He is known as a mad thinker, determined to reap his just reward by turning the city of tomorrow against his heroic patrons.

Besides the main story, Fantastic Four: First Enemy #1 also includes a two-page “FANTASTIC SCIENCE” feature inspired by Reed Richards’ educational programs in the world of film. Written by Ryan North, the mastermind behind Marvel’s ongoing Fantastic Four comic book series, this short story is a must-see for fans of all ages.
