Over the past few months, prolific author J. Michael Strakinski has been spotlighting the unlikely character pairings in a series of action packed one-shots. These standalone stories co-starred two Marvel icons of Straczynski’s choice Doctor Doom and Rocket Raccoon In Nick Fury Vs. Fin Fang Foom. This July, Straczynski closes the series with a hero and villain clash course from every corner of Marvel Universe Spider-Man vs. Sinister Six #1. Straczynski saved his Marvel Duo Adventures biggest wild at the end and brought legendary artist Phil Noto for the amazingness of this finale!

Peter Parker was about to have a lovely night with Mary Jane, but you don’t know. There’s no doubt that many people in one room will explode, including Spidey, Thor, Doctor Strange, Magneto, Loki, Doctor Tuctopus!
As for what influenced the story, Straczynski explained: “One of the most common ratios in the superhero world is one of the amounts of destruction that occurs when a hero and a villain lock the horn. We all accept that it happens. What happens when everyone tries to calm down to enjoy the experience first?
“It was a great opportunity to shove a track of good and evil into one room with a ton of characters and watch the situation get into chaos,” he continued. “This was the ultimate, only possible conclusion to show the unlikely combination given the mission of this book. Put everyone in a 30-page story, roll your hand-bucks and see what happens.
