Bakersfield pop-punk/melodic hardcore band In Balance announced their explosive new single “Two Steps Behind,” set to release on January 16, 2026. The track arrives as a burst of lucidity and confrontation, channeling relentless speed and soaring melodies to capture the moment you finally cut ties with what no longer serves you. Built on rapid-fire instrumentation, anthemic choruses, and raw emotion, the single captures release without restraint, embracing the urgency and catharsis of choosing yourself.

“‘Two Steps Behind’ was originally just an attempt to write a really fast melodic punk song,” shares vocalist Marcel.“I ended up combining a few ideas I was working on and it turned into what Chris calls a five-course meal. Zeke and I tried out multiple versions until it finally clicked. The song is unapologetic and full of energy, and the lyrics match that intensity. It’s about cutting people off who consistently wreak havoc in your life and break their promises. Some of the best moments were happy accidents, and that’s just how it goes. This is probably my favorite In Balance song so far — it really shows what we can bring to the table.”

Brooklyn’s Victoryland, the avant-pop project of Julian McCamman, is excited to share the second single from their upcoming Good English label debut, My Heart Is A Room With No Cameras In It, out January 23, 2026 everywhere digitally and on cassette tapes, which are available for pre-order now. “I’ll Show You Mine” serves as the final single and the closing song of the record, bubbling with airy guitars and refracting emotions, trailing off with joyous runs of synths. A celebration of vulnerability, realizations come to light over the levity of punchy riffs.

“The final pop egress,” says McCamman. “A song about everything but “you know what”, relating to “you know what”. Was it just me or did you notice it too? Was it just me?”

Fresh off the announcement of their highly anticipated new album Listen Up!, New Found Glory is excited to share their new single “Treat Yourself”. The third track to be released from Listen Up!, “Treat Yourself” is a fast-paced song about being kinder to yourself in the face of hard times. Stream “Treat Yourself” here and watch the new visualizer here.

“This is a fast more west coast punk style song,” shares guitarist Chad Gilbert. “It’s about how people are very hard on themselves when it comes to mistakes and failure and how a lot of that is put on by false expectations of the world and people around you.”

He continues: “People seem to forget about the hard times they already have been through and conquered in their past, which should be a reminder that they are capable of getting through tough times. A reminder that we are our own worst enemies at times and we have to give ourselves a break. We gotta treat our own selves better.”

Listen Up! is set to be released on February 20th, 2026 via Pure Noise Records. The band’s first full-length in nearly 6 years, Listen Up! is a collection of songs about resilience and hope through hard times. Fans can pre-order the album now at https://purenoiserecs.lnk.to/NFG_Stores.

Fcukers are set to release their debut album ‘Ö’ on March 27th on Ninja Tune. Produced by Kenneth Blume (FKA Kenny Beats) – recorded last year in a whirlwind two-week studio session following an initial prospective meeting between the trio – the record has been mixed by multi-Grammy-winning engineer Tom Norris (Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, The Weeknd and many more), with additional production coming from Dylan Brady of 100 Gecs across three of the album’s tracks.

The record is announced today alongside new single “L.U.C.K.Y”, and a slew of headline tour dates across North America. Canadian singer/songwriter Maddisun is pleased to share the official music video for “Amber”, which is now available on YouTube.

“Amber” – written by Maddisun and Julian Bueckert (who also produced) – is the newest music video to drop from the Cranbrook, BC-based artist’s third album, “The Pages”, which arrived on digital streaming platforms in October after an initial physical release on vinyl, CD, and cassette.

Structured as a musical journal, “The Pages” carries an old soul vibe that seamlessly blends vintage folk, rock ‘n’ roll, Southern Rock and Americana influences across 12 tracks – all written by Maddisun with 10 produced by Julian Bueckert, and one each produced by Ian Docherty and Jim Bryson. Each song represents a page from Maddisun’s journal and is a direct reflection of Maddisun’s personal moments of love, loss, growth, connection, and self-discovery.

Speaking about the new “Amber” video, Maddisun says, “This song is about self-exploration and manifesting our own positive energy amidst the whirlwind of activity – and opinions – that surround us. For the video, my director (Laura Lynn Petrick) and I chose a ‘90s-inspired digital and Super 8MM look and the setting of Toronto to capture the idea of staying grounded, living in our own free energy, and tuning out the background noise.”

Maddisun has enjoyed a nomadic musical adventure that has taken her throughout Canada, to Ireland, and to Los Angeles. Leading into this album, she has dropped two prior albums, released over ten singles, and played playing 500+ shows in the last 5 years, including four NXNE showcases and a Folk Canada showcase at Folk Alliance International.

To further celebrate “The Pages”, Maddisun has joined fellow Canadian artist Mallory Chipman for a tour of the UK and Ireland.

Brooklyn band Ringing, the project of bandleader Colton Walker, are excited to announce their debut album, another cycle in the cosmic wash, available March 20, 2026, via Julia’s War Recordings and Signal//Noise Records. Heralding the announcement is “incandescent,” which premieres today with an official visualizer. The song treks through sludgy guitars, capturing the discomfort of self-realization.

“This song is about admitting that you aren’t happy with the way you’re living your life,” Colton explains. “It’s not an easy thing to confront, but it’s a necessary first step.”

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and producer Nymphlord today unveils “Star,” a haunting new single and video inspired by the cult classic Heathers, out now via Lauren Records. Intimate and unsettling, the track digs into the dark, emotional undercurrents of adolescence, pairing stark tension with subterranean synths and a creeping sense of unease.

Elements Music & Arts Festival has revealed the phase one lineup for its 2026 edition, returning to Long Pond, Pennsylvania for three days of music, art, camping, and immersive experience from August 7–9. Entering its ninth edition, Elements continues to redefine the modern camping festival by blending forward-thinking electronic music with large-scale art, participatory programming, and a deeply rooted community ethos.

Set within its signature forested grounds, Elements delivers a wide-ranging sonic journey that spans bass, house, techno, experimental, and crossover electronic sounds. The phase one lineup reflects the festival’s commitment to curating both headline-level talent and boundary-pushing artists shaping the future of the genre.

Lineup highlights include Grammy-nominated artist Porter Robinson (DJ Set), fan-favorite boundary pusher Subtronics, storied Anjunabeats founders Above & Beyond, house heavyweight Chris Lake, high octane bass pioneer Excision, drum & bass champion Sub Focus, and the mind-melting Of The Trees. The stacked billing expands with two head-splitting sets from Crankdat including one back to back set for the Thursday pre-party with an artist to be announced, Chicago-bred crossover duo Louis The Child (Sunset Set), and genre-blurring visionary CloZee (Sunset Set) who will host a special Odyzey takeover featuring OPIUO, ProbCause, and Skysia.

House and techno standouts include chart-driving UK tastemaker Cloonee, New York-bred club authority Westend, percussive tech-house riser AYYBO, and house hitmaker ACRAZE. Added highlights include raw techno force I Hate Models, meteoric Irish sensation KETTAMA, club agitator MCR-T, groove-focused selector Know Good, and emerging underground duo X CLUB.

Bass and experimental styles are provided by cinematic bass architects Ganja White Night (Sunset Set), the hypnotic audiovisual project of LSDream + his meditative soundbath project Lightcode, forward-thinking UK selector Level Up, D&B innovators Ivy Lab, and groove-driven bass fusion of Daily Bread + his deep cut alias Cloud Conductor. Fans can also look forward to low-end disruptor Effin, exploratory experimental producer Lumasi, powerful vocalist and DJ Kaleena Zanders, genre-fluid bass selector SIPPY, mystical bass storyteller Zingara, and uncompromising dubstep powerhouse SVDDEN DEATH.

“The Elements 2026 lineup is a curated collision of pioneers, risk-takers, and artists who reshape dance music culture. From genre-defining icons, to the next wave of boundary-pushers, this lineup reflects our commitment to booking artists who don’t just move crowds, they move the culture” says Tim Monkiewicz, Elements Founder.

Elements’ four core stages – Fire, Earth, Air, and Water – each draw inspiration from the natural elements they represent, creating distinct worlds of sound and design across the festival grounds. From high-energy nighttime performances to sun-soaked daytime sets, each stage offers a unique environment for discovery, connection, and exploration.

Tim adds, “We are excited to announce the Fire Stage is being redesigned from the ground up for 2026 as a living temple of sound – a collaboration with international designers to create something ancient, explosive, and deeply ritualistic. It’s not just a stage, but a shared moment of release, where music, architecture, and energy collide.”

Phase one passes – including GA, VIP, and enhanced experience options – are available now via the official Elements Music & Arts Festival website.

Lafayette, LA band Cashier are excited to join the roster of Julia’s War Recordings with the announcement of their debut EP, The Weight, available March 13, 2026. Premiering today, “Like I Do” searches for answers among driving riffs and powerful vocals. The band has also shared an official visualizer for the track, filmed throughout previous tours around the country.

“This one is more of a piece of generic rock,” bandleader Kylie Gaspard explains. “We kind of wanted to make our own version of that sound. The lyrics are very simple, just about two people figuring each other out, what feels right when you’re unsure of a scenario, and navigating another person’s energy.”

After celebrating a decade of defining hip-hop culture worldwide, Rolling Loud, The World’s Largest Hip-Hop Festival, enters a new era in 2026 by announcing the lineup for Rolling Loud 2026 in Orlando. The stacked lineup features headliners Playboi Carti, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Don Toliver, and 75+ artists redefining today’s hip-hop landscape. Rolling Loud 2026, its only U.S. festival of the year, will take place May 8–10, 2026 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL.

Rolling Loud 2026 tickets are available now at rollingloud.com/2026.

Story Of The Year release new single, “Disconnected.” The track is the second offering from their upcoming 8th studio album release, A.R.S.O.N., out everywhere February 13th, 2026 via SharpTone Records.

“Disconnected” is a vulnerable, no-holds-barred track that captures the frustration of wanting to get better without knowing where to start and resisting the urge to implode in loneliness. Cathartic screams, punchy guitars and massive drums drive the song’s intensity as frontman Dan Marsala confesses, “I’m sick of being disconnected from everything I need.”  The music video is a moody, visually captivating accompaniment that captures the head-spinning feeling of being caught between the desire to heal and the feeling of falling apart.

“‘Disconnected’ is one of those songs that nicely encapsulates where we are creatively these days: Big, anthemic vocals & massive guitar riffs over high energy drums,” explains guitarist Ryan Phillips. “When I showed Colin [Brittain] the original version of the song, he loved everything besides the main guitar riff I had at the time. One day by chance I played him a song that I had planned for a solo record. It was this long piano piece that slowly gained momentum and then finally exploded into this really heavy low tuned whammy bar riff. He stopped the song and said ‘Dude, that’s the riff we need. We have to use that as the main riff for “Disconnected.”’  He cut it together and it worked perfectly.  Sometimes that’s how it goes!”
