Nandi Rose has previewed her upcoming album, ‘Half Waif’. See you at the Maypole They’ve just released a new song, “The Museum,” which follows lead single “Figurine.” Check it out below.

“At the top of Main Street in my small town, there is a warehouse that is being converted into a museum of Shaker art,” Rose explained in a statement. “It’s just around the corner from my house, so I walk past it all the time. When I wrote ‘The Museum,’ I thought that creating a museum at a time when the world is at the apex of the climate crisis was kind of beautiful and delusional – the idea of preserving furniture in a blank-walled space while everything is falling apart outside.”

“I also read about people vacationing at an active volcano in Iceland, and that, too, gave me the same feeling as the museum being built,” she continued. “Tourism was on the brink of an apocalypse, and my husband and I were talking about starting a family, building a future, and wrestling with the responsibility of what it would mean to bring our children into a world where people are taking selfies while the Earth is exploding.”
