Emma Frost Leads A Brand New Kind Of Mutant Academy In Eve Ewing’s X-Men United

This March, the X-Men come together to forge a new way for the mutant species to thrive. X-Men United! Previously teased series, part of the upcoming line shadow of tomorrow Era is written by Eve L. Ewing, following her acclaimed works. extraordinary x-menand illustrated by Tiago Palma.

The series unites the entire X tapestry of different generations, factions, and eras under one initiative, and turns the classic concept of a school for mutants on its head with the introduction of Gray Matter Lane. Founded by Emma Frost and featuring faculty including Wolverine, Magneto, Beast, Rogue, and Storm, as well as guest instructors from across the Marvel Universe, Gray Matter Lane is more than just an academy, it’s a central hub for mutant interaction around the world and beyond. This adventure is a daring undertaking that requires everyone to work together, but not all of the X-Men are ready for the idea of a separate mutant institution for higher education.

Welcome to Gray Matter Lane… Learn how to survive this experience!

“Build a school,” Charles Xavier told them, and the X-Men did just that. But it happened in a way no one expected. Welcome to Gray Matter Lane. This is a place where mutants from around the world can unite and teach each other the skills they need to survive. It’s a crossroads in the X-Universe, staffed by the greatest of the X-Men as teachers, a campus unlike any you’ve seen before, and a student body from around the world working to take the mutant race to its next evolutionary step and deal with a creeping threat to all of them.

“X-Men United “It forms the focal point of the mutant world. It’s steeped in the tradition of series like this,” said Tom Brevoort, director of X. amazing x-men and Wolverine and the X-MenGray Matter Lane is where all the major players of the X-world gather to fight, bond, and cancel out their differences. There’s plenty of action, drama, faces old and new, and danger. Who is the young mutant who is seriously injured on the first day? And which X-Man is responsible? What secrets will be revealed in Sinister’s laboratory? What would it be like for a estranged couple to rekindle their bond? And how far will Cyclops go to eradicate all attempts? ”

“Working on the X-Team these past few years has been one of the most fun times I’ve ever had writing comics,” Ewing said. “The idea for ‘Grey Matter Lane’ came from a bunch of writers brainstorming in a room, which is really cool because psychic space allows things to get even weirder and more surreal, but still builds on that classic Xavier school energy that we’ve all loved for decades.”

“It’s surreal! That sums up how I feel working on this new chapter of the X-Men,” Palma said. “And what an honor it was to have the opportunity to design the new campus at Greymatter Lane. We loved the freedom to really experiment with different shapes and really unusual ideas for such an iconic space for the group.”
