Channing Tatum and Oscar Isaac Sign On To Star In Crime Movie ‘Kockroach’

Channing Tatum, Oscar Isaac, and Zazie Beetz are cast in the new crime thriller titled Kockroach.

New York City set Kockroach This is an upcoming film to be exhibited at the TIFF market next week. Based on William Rusher’s novel, the film is directed by Matt Ross. Captain Fantastic. According to Deadline, the film’s premise revolves around “transforming into a bigger, life-than-life crime boss in a city where power is everything.”

The script for Kockroach Written by Jonathan Ames (You weren’t really here), revised by director Matt Ross. The film is produced by Andrew Lazar through Mad Chance Production Company.

Production is scheduled to begin in Australia in January 2026. The release date has not been announced yet.

In the meantime, Tatum will soon appear as Jeffrey Manchester Roofmanthe new crime film directed by Derek Cianfrance, is scheduled to appear in US theatres this October. He is also back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Remy Lebaud/Gambit Avengers: The Endcurrently in production. Additionally, Tatum is attached to the thriller Josephineco-starring Gemma-chan.

Oscar Isaac’s upcoming projects include playing Dr. Victor Frankenstein in Guillermo del Toro Frankenstein An adaptation with limited theatrical releases in October before streaming on Netflix. He also stars in the lead role. Dante’s handsIt will soon be world premiered at the Venice International Film Festival.

Zazie Beetz recently lent her voice to Diane Foxington/The Crimson Paw Bad guy 2 (2025). She works with Gore Verbinski in the titled sci-fi film Good luck, have fun, don’t diefeaturing Sam Rockwell, Haley Lou Richardson, Michael Pena and Juno Temple.
