CATAN GmbH, CATAN Studio and KOSMOS present the 6th edition of CATAN, 30 years after the launch of the original version. Settlers of Catan Klaus Teuber brought the game to another generation of players.

In CATAN, players play as adventurers and build their own community on the deserted island of Catan. Players use strategic thinking and smart negotiations with their best enemies to manage their resources, build and expand their settlements, and trade with each other.
The 6th edition of CATAN retains its basic mechanics, but many of the game’s creative components have been updated to improve the experience. The game’s rulebook now features more images and clearer graphical examples, and a cleaner design and sleeker components, including the introduction of an advanced eco-friendly box tray and organized card holders, for a more immersive experience. Assists gameplay.
The game also features revamped art, from updated packaging to enhanced game components. A new square box with updated lid art designed by illustrators Quentin Regnes and Eric Hibbeler shows off the game’s setting. The landscape depicted on the game’s box includes hexagonal tile elements that evolve over time, forming a narrative that spans the flagship game and its major expansions, and is consistent with CATAN’s gameplay. , which tells the story of an island explorer.
“In designing the 6th edition of CATAN, our goal was to enhance many parts of the player experience without redefining game play.
