In 2004, Brazilian musician Seu Jorge recorded a series of Portuguese covers of David Bowie songs for a Wes Anderson film. Life Aquatic by Steve Zissou. The following year, he released a full album of 13 of Bowie’s classic songs and took them on tour throughout 2016 and 2017. Now in 2026, Jorge returns with the performance above to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Bowie’s death. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Brazilian coastline, he sings some of Bowie’s most beloved songs while playing the role of Pere dos Santos, which he played in Anderson’s film.
