Metalhorse It was recorded by producer James Trevascus at Paco Loco in Seville, Spain. Bassist Mandy Clark (KT Tunstall, Go! Team) and drummer Liam Chapman (Logi Plain, BMX Bandits) performed in Nomates’ live bands and joined the Mary’s in the studio. “We were so close, and our bond was music,” she shared. “That was my safety and protection in the world. Even in nursing homes, things were getting worse, so I went to him and asked him what I was doing. I would show him a new protest or I was on the radio. We had been talking about this positive thing, so it saved everything from the shit.”
“For me, Metalhorse Marys added. “That was the feeling in life and I still feel a little like that.”
