This thriller drama was previously available on Prime Video. Absentia launched on Netflix in November and is currently captivating viewers thanks to its intriguing mix of thrills and mystery.
The show originally aired for three seasons from 2017 to 2020, but unfortunately the episodes were not renewed after that. In other words, it is not Absentia Season 4 is just around the corner.

What is Absentia About?
A tense psychological thriller, Absentia The film follows Emily Byrne, an FBI agent who disappears without a trace while investigating a serial killer. Six years later, she is found alive in a secluded cabin. However, she does not remember what happened while she was gone.
Returning home, she is faced with a world she no longer recognizes. Her husband remarried and her son grew up without her. Emily tries to rebuild her life, but becomes involved in a new series of murders.
Over the course of three seasons, viewers follow Emily as she digs into her past and tries to piece together her lost years. She eventually uncovers the real conspiracy while also dealing with the trauma of being away from home for so long.
The third installment ends on a pretty clear note, so don’t worry about being left with a ton of unanswered questions. The story could have continued like this, but Absentia Season 4, the three seasons currently available on Netflix, are satisfying to watch.
