The album includes 15 songs, including the recently released songs “Punk Rocky” and “Helicopter,” along with music videos starring Winona Ryder. The album’s cover art was designed by Tim Burton.

She wrote the 2023 sequel windows are a dream During her first year living in New York, she earned an MFA in Creative Writing in Charlottesville before moving to New York. “Moving to New York after graduation felt all too right, like an arranged marriage,” Horn recalled. “For a while, I was quite unhappy. My life was still in Virginia, my friends were in Texas, my mother was learning to live again after years of going from hospital to hospital…I was floating around town in my pajamas in the middle of the day.” Slow and tender, full of intimate and poetic revelations.

Oslo musician Sunniva Lindgard’s project Sassy 009 has released its debut album. dreamer+. Building a dreamworld of muffled intimacy, the record features guest appearances from like-minded artists like Blood Orange and Yune Pink. Drawing inspiration from Gorillaz and Boards of Canada, as well as Nirvana and Lil Wayne, Lindgard felt he had finally “stepped into the role of producer” and imagined himself writing songs for a live band, rather than “getting lost in 200 layers of chaos.” Includes early singles “Someone”, “Mirrors”, “Tell Me”, “Enemy” and “Butterflies”.

Co-starred by Jerry Barnhart, it was recorded almost entirely on tape. “I was going through one of the darkest times in my life and singing was the only way I could think about it,” Andrews recalls. “I felt like I was cursed, and I felt the only solace was to write songs and paint.”

Sleaford Mods are back with their first LP in three years. The end of planet X. The project features Aldous Harding, former Life Without Buildings singer Sue Tompkins, reggae artist Liam Bailey, British grime rapper Snowy, actress Gwendoline Christie and Big Special. “The end of planet X Frontman Jason Williamson explains, “It represents a life lived in immense uncertainty, shaped by massive trauma. When we wrote our last album, it was about a country that felt like a stagnation, a lifeless corpse.” Three years later, its corpse has been torn apart by war, genocide, and the lingering psychological effects of the coronavirus, while social media has mutated into a grotesque, distorted form of digital engineering. It feels like I’m living in ruins. Multilayered abominations are etched into our collective psyche. ”

doppelganger New York slowcore trio Pia’s first new album in nearly seven years. healthy earth. “The songs were spread over such a long period of time that it felt like the first song and the last song were written by different people,” recalled bandleader Peter Katz. “In a way, this is exactly what this song is about: literally changing over time and then looking back and realizing how different you were. These songs are about reflecting and considering your mental projections of yourself and your literal self. For this reason, the doppelganger concept immediately resonated with me.”
