Asher White – “Beer with my name”
Asher Whitehuss, more than a dozen albums under her belt, but just released 8 Tips for a Catastrophemarking Joyful Noise’s debut on September 12th. If you’ve never heard of the singer-songwriter on the NYC Byroad Island, now is a good time to pay attention, and her new song, “Beer with My Name” is very good – if you can handle the transition from power pop to panmeling techno. “The idea of catastrophe hints is really interesting to me,” White commented. “I was interested in making something that sounds like a self-help book, but it’s actually about self-destruction. In a life of total catastrophe, you have to do lots of whippets.

Clips – “That’s why.”
Clipse dropped “So Be It,” the second single on the comeback album Let God sort them out. A hard hit track arrives along with a captivating black and white video directed by Hannan Hussein.

Motion City Soundtrack – “She’s Fearing”
Minneapolis-based pop-punk band Motion City Soundtrack has released their first new album in 10 years. The same old, useless, wonderful world. On September 17th via Epitaph, it is led to the highly anthemic single “She Fears”. “As soon as I heard Josh’s Bonker guitar part, I turned over,” singer/guitarist Justin Pierre said. “I don’t know how he does that. I listened to a lot of funky homo sapiens when I was writing lyrics, and I think his influence comes out a bit in the poem (but hopefully in a way that doesn’t sound completely derivative, I’m watching you see Mike Patton from You Fat Bastards (Live at the Britton Academy London) as a teenager in ’90/’91.”

Shapednoise of Berlin-based producer Nino Peddon, a Sicilian-born project, has released a new album. Absurd substance 2. It will appear on September 19th and features Armand Hammer, Loraine James, Moor Mother, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and more. James co-produced “I Saw The Light,” a frizzy, uncompromising lead cut that also boasts vocals from Moore’s mother.

Just Mustard is back with a new song that is still a feedback radation but etheric “Pollyanna.” “We filmed the video with various CCTV and VHS cameras around our hometown of Dundalk. We’ll try to do as much fun as possible. This is a fun that will make you feel sick almost instantly and fit the theme of the song,” she commented.

LiquidMike – “AT&T”
Liquid Mike has a new song called “AT&T.” This sounds catchy and lonely. “It was inspired by the ugly parting between someone very close to me and someone I had a lot of light empty at the time,” explained frontman Mike Maple. “I wanted to stand up to him, but I realized how things were going, he was suffering enough – a lonely man who doesn’t talk to anyone and a wall bug. I’ll be appearing in upcoming albums. Hell is the airport.

Winter enlisted in the horse jumper of love Dimitri Giannopolos for her new single called “Misery” Adult Romanticsit evokes Elliot Smith. “This song was written with my friend Alex Craig,” explained Samira Winter. “In the beginning we imagined a fictional story about falling in love with someone unavailable and resorting to the romanticization of indulging in a kind of sadness. However, during the recording process, the story of Elliot Smith’s love and tragic death appeared: the hermophobic effect on my voice.” Giannopoulos added: “I was excited when Samira hit me to sing on her tracks.
