King Gizard & Lizard Wizard recently released his 27th album, ” Phantom Islandsharing the title track, they came back with a flashy and fun “dead stick.” “The “dead stick” refers to when the plane’s propellers stop a mid-flight, so we decided to put a huge plane made from a cardboard impact site in a beautiful place,” explained Guy Tizak, who directed the attached video for the song. “The song is big and confusing, so I cast swing dancers and eccentric extras to fill the landscape.”
