Good with Amy Poehler (Ringer)

She turned her attention to the new arena with her conquest of improvised comedy, television, film, actress and comedian Amy Poehler. With the Good Hang Podcast, Polar uses his years of experience and friendship developed in the entertainment industry to chat with Tina Faye, Martin Short, Dakota Johnson, Michelle Obama and more. The show piled up with questions about career, family and happiness, with Poehler taking advantage of the humor and infectious laughter of her signature to disarm guests. Good Hang is totally successful in the mission promised in that title. It makes you feel like you’re in a room where you’re out with close friends. (Francis Agustin)

Rory Stewart: The Long History of Heroism (BBC)

British politician and diplomat Rory Stewart explores five parts of what it means to be a hero in the admission of embarrassing things. Because of his youth and much of his adulthood, he sacrificed his life for a noble cause, longing to be Alexander the Great. However, this classic concept of heroism has little place in today’s complex world, Stewart argues in this latest series of podcasts of his long history. He takes his audience on a journey of over three,000 years, and tracks the evolution of heroism, starting with Achilles and ending with Donald Trump and Volodimia Zelensky. In the age of superheroes and social media, do you have something important about the loss of history about the human flaws needed to be heroes? (Richard Gray)
