Samia – “Cinder Block”

The hypnotic and provocative lead single “Take It” comes with a video co-directed by Caity Arthur and Keiyaa. “An album about the journey of narcissism from an angle that is not all affirmation or capitalist self-care,” explained Keyaa. “It’s not a moral linear story at the end. It’s more of a cycle, a spiral. It’s Hook’s law. In this job, I aim to interrogate and accept anger and conflict, disappointment and frustration. Relationship with the self.”

Jenny on the Holidays – “All my ounces”

Jenny Hollingworth of Let’s Eat Grandma has introduced a new project, Jenny on Holiday. She wrote it during the quietness of Norwich Summers and then completed it in London with producer Steph Marziano. “‘All My Ounces’ was inspired by singing dramatic, fun, ’80s love songs at karaoke with friends,” explained Hollingworth. “I wanted to write something about myself that I could imagine in that setting. It’s a song about your reservation about your love and not trying hard, but you can’t help fall for someone else.”

Spiritual Clamp – “Automatic”

The spiritual convulsion dropped a resilient, surprising new single called “automatic.” rude. Following the previous “young criminals” and “my funerals”, it is more reminiscent of a murderer than anything else from their first LP.

With the new Netflix series Black rabbitJude Law plays a character who was in front of a band called Black Rabbit. The band’s songs appeared on shows in flashback scenes, and Law actually recorded them in Stroke’s “Albert Hammond Jr.”.

Anna von Hauswarf – “Facing Atlas”

Anna Von Hausswolff shared a sparkling, cosmic resonant new song called “Facing Atlas,” filmed from her upcoming full-length ICONOCLASTS. “Facing Atlas is about the risk of commitment, being bound by something until you lose control of yourself and your life direction,” explained the Swedish musician and composer. “If we are not chosen by the desires of our hearts, our fate can feel like a prison.”

Snooper – “Pompom”

Snooper has already dropped a lot of tracks from their upcoming albums all over the world. BEA1991 – “Babies bug”

Dutch artist Beatriz de Rijke, who recorded the music as Bea1991, released a scathingly exhausting song called “Tummy Bug.” “The tummy bug is here for you,” Bea1991 said. “She’s a song about how women’s reproductive health is being rejected in medicine and society as a whole, about heartbreak, physical pain, loneliness, what this causes all over the world, and how it will differ in the future.”
