Is it bad to pray to angels?
To answer this question, I would like to take a deep dive into what prayer actually is. Because I honestly believe that not understanding what prayer is is the root and source of this common misunderstanding. Some people feel, or say, that it is wrong to pray to angels, but their reasoning usually involves assigning a level of meaning to prayer that is not actually true.

So what is prayer?
Prayer vs. Worship vs. Respect
Prayer is often confused with worship. This confusion appears to be rooted in common religious understandings of what worship is. In a Sunday church or “worship” service, prayer, singing, and study are considered the main “worship” activities.
And many people think this is talking about prayer because in the Bible there is a main reference from Revelation where angels say do not worship angels.
So there’s a misconception that prayer and worship are the same thing…but is that really true? Let’s dig into what the words actually mean.
Definition and etymology of prayer
So the etymology, or etymology, of the word prayer comes from the early 13th century, when it was used in Old French. plié, That literally meant asking seriously.
Therefore, if we view prayer in this sense as earnestly requesting assistance from angels, there is nothing wrong with that, but angels, who are highly evolved spiritual beings, have powerful powers such as: It has incredible benefits because it has a strong code of ethics. Respect humankind’s free will.
Yes, you’ve probably heard it before too, and it’s true, angels will assist you in your life much easier if you ask them for permission first.
To pray means to ask earnestly.
What Worship Actually Means
So if prayer is simply asking for help, what does worship mean?
The etymology of the word worship reveals traces of the word being used in the 12th century to mean “reverence paid to a supernatural or divine being.”
Let’s take a closer look. What does respect mean?

definition of respect
In modern times, respect means to be in awe or fear. It comes from the Latin word “revereri,” which means “to be in awe of, to respect, to honor, to fear, to fear.” I respect you.”
Angels do not seek to be worshiped.
If you ask them…the angels will tell you, “Yes, ask for our help if you want or need it”…but at the same time, the angels will tell you, “Yes, ask for our help if you want or need it.” “Do not worship us….Do not fear us.” Recognize that we are your humble servants and allies in your life. I’m here to help you remember and be in awe.”
Praying to angels is asking for divine help, not worshiping them
So should we pray to angels?
Although I do not recommend worshiping angels, I do recommend tuning in to angelic beings and asking them for guidance, assistance, and physical healing support.
The angels have so much to give and share with you without expecting anything in return.
Angels exist at different levels of consciousness, different levels of awareness, but they do not consider themselves to be superior to you.
They humbly and lovingly honor your divine light and the incredible opportunities we all have as physical beings to grow and evolve within this physical realm. And they only ask to serve, to guide and support you in your path (with your permission, of course, and that’s exactly where prayer comes in!).
What actually happens when you pray to angels?
When you ask the angels for help…they will help you where and how they can. In other words, when you ask angels for help, you are not making a deal with them. Honestly, you don’t have to do anything in return, and you don’t have to pay it back anyway. However, gratitude and respect are nice touches. 🙂
But the truth is…just by praying or asking them for help, you can be glad to know that they are serving according to God’s will. So if it is the divine will for them to come forward and help you, support you and create changes, opportunities and even serendipity in your life, they will do so and you can help, guide and support you more effectively. You pray and ask for help.
Raise the vibration of angelic prayer
So I think of prayer as literally asking angels for help. Now, there are benefits to just asking and praying from a place of normal waking consciousness…saying in your heart:
“Angels help me, angels, I need help in x, y, z areas of my life.”…or whatever you are praying for. Its normal mode of consciousness is literally on a different vibrational plane than the angelic realm.
Bring your vibration closer to the angelic realm.
So, make sure that your prayers are truly heard by the angels, and that your wishes are truly accepted. Taking your own frame of consciousness and awareness into account when praying or asking for help is powerful.
In other words, if you can take the time to get really clear and first get some stillness and stillness…in that stillness, stillness, and calm, you bring yourself into a vibrational state closer to the angelic realm. You can.
If you take this a little further and open your heart and raise your vibration, you can attune yourself to the angelic energies from this place.
Then when you ask for help, when you pray, when you ask for guidance for direction or intervention, your prayers are much more likely to be heard and the angels can intervene and work on your feelings. . I will help you with your life on your behalf.
