Visitation Dreams — How to Tell If They Are Real

Have you dreamed of a loved one that has passed away? If so, you are not alone. When my grandmother passed away a few years ago, she contacted me shortly afterwards through a dream visit. Going back further, my grandfather contacted me through a dream when I was in college, and he reassured me too much that he was proud of me, he urged me to continue working hard and he informed me that he was okay.

This type of experience with my loved one is not normal and it doesn’t make me special. In fact, dreaming of visiting is one of the most common ways that spirits can reach out to their loved ones after death.

Dream visits provide evidence that, even after death, they still have a way of communicating with their loved ones who are still physically alive, through living through their dreams.

Not all dreams about your dead loved ones are direct communication from them, so how can you know whether your dream means that your loved one actually reached out or whether it is a creation from your subconscious mind?

The good news is that there are a few easy ways to tell.

First, let’s look at “normal dreams.”

Most of your dreams are the creation of your subconscious when your consciousness is asleep. An easy way to understand how normal dreams work by thinking of them as films and by thinking of your subconscious as a director.

In a dream, your subconscious has a general theme, lesson, or communication idea, so choose the dream character to play the scenario. Your subconscious will choose the characters of your dreams based on all the people you encounter in your life and past life (it doesn’t matter if you consciously remember them).

Sometimes, the deceased loved ones play a role as dream characters… these are not dreams of visiting. Your grandmother has passed away because your subconscious needs the figure of a loving grandmother, but her personality and how you perceive her will play the role of a dream character, as it will help you to depict your subconscious through your dreams.

Many people quickly dispel their visit dreams, similar to the above. Or they believe that the dream is the result of a person at the very top of their mind, a result of sadness, not direct and true communication beyond the body.

In my mind, my dreams of visiting from my grandparents are very real and I look forward to sharing some features of the real visit dreams you can look for to determine if your dreams about a lost loved one are actually real after death communication.

What is a dream of visiting?

A dream of visiting is not a creation from your subconscious… a dream of visiting is when you communicate with you while you are asleep. There are many reasons to communicate while you’re asleep rather than awake… the main thing is that your ego mind won’t block communication. Therefore, it is much easier for your loved one to pass the filters of your heart.

The dream of a dead loved one is the most common type of visit dream, but I also had a dream of visiting from an angel or a spirit guide.

A dream of a true visit is very different from a normal dream. First of all, they are usually very realistic and vivid and will feel visited by a loved one who has passed away.

Also, through true visits through dreams from spirit, you will feel and know in your mind that dreams are true communication.

When it comes to normal dreams, they tend to forget, but in true dream visits they are vivid and realistic, and you will probably remember it for the rest of your life.

When my grandparents contacted me through the state of their dreams, I saw them as completely healed, vivid, and perfect. If your loved one appears to you through this dream, this is an important sign of a true visit. They are now completely reconnected with the source and the light of God, so dreams, fears, or illnesses will disappear when you contact you through the state of your dreams.

A dream of a true visit involves clear communication from the physical. It does not have to be words, it will often be completely telepathic… But when the existence of the spirit visits you in your dreams, they will clearly convey their message and to the point.

The dream of visiting is not long, but is drawn out… They are usually simple, incredibly realistic, powerful, and then they are gone.

Most often, based on my experience and the dreams of visits that others I know have had, communication focuses on security, forgiveness and healing, and lets you know that they are okay. If there are some warnings your loved one has for you, that is also the point, and then supported through their presence with a sense of security and love and support.

Finally, when you wake up from a dream of visiting, you may be overcome with love, peace and gratitude. You will know that you have been visited by your loved one who is spiritually present.

If this happened to you, trust that a real dream visit has happened. Know that your loved ones are fine and that they will provide support beyond their love, security and physical body after death.

If you feel that you are being visited in your dreams by a lower vibration entity, this is also possible, but it will not be useful to you and can be easily prevented by mental protection! Ask the archangel Michael and your guardian angels who will surround you with light while you sleep, to alienate unwanted negative beings.
