The best meditation cushions to enhance your meditation practice
Finding the right meditation cushion can greatly improve your meditation practice.
Meditating in an upright triangular meditation position on the floor has many benefits. If you haven’t tried it before, you may find it difficult to get comfortable enough to still your body and go deep into your mind during your practice.
Right now, in my meditation practice, I am practicing deepening silence and spending long periods of time in deep stillness and silence.
This quest has led me to try several meditation positions, postures, chairs, pillows and cushions to find what truly works for me.
My top recommendation for a meditation cushion at the moment is Crescent moon meditation cushion (with cushion).

There are many different options for meditation cushions.
I am currently meditating using the crescent moon meditation cushion and a zabuton. The Burmese sitting meditation position works best for me.
But the meditation method that works best for me may not be the best for you. If sitting in a chair is most comfortable for you, there’s nothing wrong with that. If you want to learn more about sitting positions for meditation, try a few out and find what works best for you and your body. here.
Note: If you have difficulty sitting cross-legged on the floor in any position, practicing stretching your legs and hips may help you develop this ability. I encourage you to start practicing sitting upright in some way when meditating, even if just for five minutes.

Updated review: For me, the round cushion was not as comfortable as the crescent shaped meditation cushion, but overall, you can’t go wrong with the Hugger Mugger cushion or any zabuton/zabuton style meditation cushion in general.
Another option I tried was the premium priced Alexia Meditation Sheet.
To be honest, I was very excited about this seat at first, it made me feel like I was meditating on a cloud lol – it’s very comfortable and supportive for finding a vertical and aligned meditation position.
The Alexia’s seat is softer and more cushioned than zabuton alternatives, plus the seat design allows plenty of room for your feet and legs to fold up, taking the pressure off your body weight. It may mean It reduces pressure on your knees, hips and ankles, making your meditation session more comfortable.
Updated review: For me, I’ve found that a crescent meditation cushion on top of a seat cushion is the most comfortable option for my morning meditation practice… but now that my Alexia meditation seat is by the window, it’s still advantageous to have it there.
