Poetry: The Lost Poet
Dr. Archan Mehta
Gentle Reader:
I started writing
Childhood Poems
Without support,
Without encouragement,
In a place called Ahmedabad,
Barren as the moon,
Cultural wasteland.
therefore,
In the wasteland
Tears were my childhood.
I was a prisoner
was locked up
The four walls of the room,
Schools and universities,
and,
Hope of escape.
Instead, from my cage,
I often dream
About Wild Blue
The other side: Outdoors
Passionate
In the shape of the sun
Warmth and honey.
More than anything,
I wanted to be a farmer,
As simple as a leek
and red tomatoes
And apples and olives,
But I was told to study.
Engineering and Medicine
Or, by default,
As a crooked lawyer.
To express
In this predicament, I
I started writing poetry,
At that young age,
Experience
Still innocent
and a rich imagination
Can build roads and highways
Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy:
At that time I
To the lamenting poet.
Surrounded by different business types:
Small shopkeepers and inventory
Traders and Scholars
Interested in casting
Money over scholarships:
These rude and rude people
I had burnt holes in my sensitive skin.
I was certainly a lone warrior
Who worked hardest at night?
Or early in the morning,
And I am my own
Company and Event
by hand
Human imagination
And aesthetic grace,
dreamer
Commercial and
Materialistic
Consumer entity:
And so I
Laughing stock
Popular
There was no gratitude
For art and for artists.
Gentle Reader:
It was a lonely fight
Put pen to paper
And to express
This dormant
The urge to create.
I did not express
Cold, metallic feeling
But emotions
Pain and suffering,
After many years of isolation
And ruined
A brutal exam system
He knows no compromise.
If I was left
To dry off near the clouds,
The sun, the moon, the trees,
Natural creatures,
And unmistakable
Fresh and green feeling
Grass growing underneath
Your feet when walking
Alone on a beautiful beach
Near the windy sea
Gently caressing her cheek:
When you bury your feet deep
In moist soil or sand:
It was truly like paradise.
