Dr. Arkan Meta
Poem: Bombay Slam
Once upon a time, I dare say I’m an angel
He visited me. But I observed it there
There was endless sadness in her eyes. I felt
Confusion: Should I respond or should I respond? and
So I asked gently and politely: Angel, you
I’m having a problem. Why is that so? The angel replied:
Well, I am an angel of mercy. Therefore,
visit Dharavi Mumbai, India, and me
I learned that it is one of the biggest slums
In the world. So I experienced death
destruction. I was surprised there was no one there
Ready to help the dead and die. and
That’s why I started crying. for a moment
Later, I began crying with this angel too.
But my tears were not enough. together,
We prayed to the good and dear Lord
To help our planet misery.
The poor and the poor are worthy
To survive and to live their lives
Natural life. It’s just expensive
Power can attend them
Screams, screams, sighs.
