Indigo Gabbro – My New Favorite Crystal

Indigo Gabbro is a remarkable stone due to its incredibly high vibrations, ability to balance and focus energy, and purify and transform harmful influences.

I was drawn to this stone even before I knew its real name.

I read about it in Robert Simmons’ book “Stones of New Consciousness.” But in his own way, he renamed and trademarked it “Mystic Merlinite”…but that’s another story.

Anyway, as I looked at the photos and read about its energetic alignment, I felt incredibly drawn to it, so when I went to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show for the first time last year…it was my It was on the list.

But I couldn’t find it there…

I felt a wave of joyful energy wash over me, and as I looked at the stone with my mind’s eye, I noticed light radiating from the stone and surrounding me. Focus came back to me in the moment.

That night, I slept with this stone next to my pillow. When I woke up the next morning, I felt even more energized and recharged than usual.

My second meditation with Indigo Gabbro was a little different…

Again I greeted and blessed the stone and attuned to its energy, this time placing it in my heart chakra. I felt a welcome resonance there, a blessing of love and clarity as I entered the inner realm.

And from inside… Indigo Gablo appeared.

After all, this was my intention…I met the stone spirit, and there she was.

A silvery, indigo-purple goddess shining with the warmth and light of beauty… But she retreated, and suddenly I was surrounded and enveloped by a fantastic starry sky.

Surrounded by peace and starlight…kept in a balance between light and darkness…

Then I saw my truth…on a deeper, deeper level than ever before…my truth as a denser, multidimensional being. I believe in my potential for true mastery and how all the lessons, challenges, and struggles of my life lead me to align with my highest truth and the glorious complexity of my inner light. It was deep, comforting, and completely magical to say the least.

As mentioned above, indigo mottling is relatively new and many crystal and jewelry stores don’t seem to stock it yet, so I had a hard time finding it locally.
