The path of liberation and awakening
By Stephen Becker
We want to invite you to a hideaway far from all the press chores and appointments that define your daily life.
Imagine for a moment that someone chose you as a participant in a four-week retreat in a distant mountainous region. Not only will all costs be covered by the organizer, but we will also arrange to accommodate your child’s trustworthy luxury vacation camps, ensuring they are free from all work-related obligations. Additionally, you will receive payments for participation twice your monthly income.
What would someone want to achieve by organizing such a hideout, and why would they invest so much money in it?
That’s what you do to bring people on the path of awakening.
How might you ask?
By looking at life from a completely different perspective.
Life and carrots you will never reach
As far as we understand life, paid jobs are shortages and paid jobs are not taken for granted as there are always people in other countries who are willing to take over our work with even less pay if necessary.
So it seems that work, work, and more work are critical elements of our lives. As we no longer can work, we must realize that the great retirement we promised is not something like a depicted commercial. We have dedicated our limited life to our work, shopping for essentials, sleeping, appointment of doctors, commuting, and countless other tasks that are not often fun. And of course, there is a social obligation. We all participate in graduation ceremonies, weddings, funerals, birthday parties, volunteer meetings, and more.
Meanwhile, we value our dreams and goals. Maybe we will achieve these dream snippets – like a new car (we use primarily for commuting and errands). We may have a nice mortgaged home (which means hiring more pressure), and a house that starts to need our attention as soon as we acquire it, all parts of it will start to deteriorate upon completion and need funds for the inevitable repairs.
I think you get the point of what I’m saying.
Now, what happens if we stop a bit and find a way to produce all the items with maximum durability? We think we can reduce the manufacturing and what we need, such as transportation, retail, maintenance, etc., at least 55% or more. It also reduces government oversight, taxation and bureaucracy by eliminating excessive business. Of course, we also build structures and homes so they can last for centuries, reducing work in that field as well.
And now, is our hideout challenging as we begin to wonder why, how, and for whom the world is? After a wider deliberation (which is the purpose of four weeks), we conclude that we can easily transition to a world where half of this world of labor is eliminated. We see that the meaning of life is artificially directed towards work. They have forced us to dominate our limited life force, and there is little left. By the time we spend our free time, our health is likely to prevent us from enjoying what we once wanted.
But as we discover in retreat, such a bad outcome is not necessary at all. So why maintain such a meaningless system? Plus, why are we exhausting natural resources and destroying our landscapes and the environment?
In the end, at our retreat, I will ask you a question. Who designs this way of life and for what purpose? Why do schools prepare us just for this system, rather than encouraging them to seek better ways? Why don’t you think it’s the main focus of education outside of the box?
It is my intention to discuss these issues with readers and gather ideas and insights on how to actively bring about awakening. It’s an awakening that allows us to see beyond the gradual world we live in, work and work. It frees us and reunites us with our supernatural abilities and abilities.
