Most people focus their spring cleaning efforts on decluttering their physical space and getting rid of things that no longer serve them to make way for a fun spring. This is so powerful!

Removing dust, dirt, or clutter that may have accumulated over the winter helps create space and openness for new blessings in the upcoming spring cycle of growth, fertility, and productivity .

But of course… Both inside and outside.

In our spring cleaning efforts, Don’t forget to do a little spring cleaning yourself.

Clearing the mind, cleansing the body, and cleansing the aura are all appropriate and timely to do now at the beginning of spring.

I would like to preface this here. In writing this, I in no way intend to suggest that I have this all figured out. I, too, continue to vibrate from presence, stillness, and clarity from time to time. But I became a student of the process, continually practicing the method, and finding new tools and methods that helped me return to being and change in alignment with the Supreme Love.

Just like cleaning your house is something you do once and never finish.

Keeping your mind organized is also an ongoing process.

Here are some tools that can help.

10 easy ways to organize your mind

1. Keep your space organized

If your home or office is messy, dirty, and cluttered, it can seriously disrupt your happy and peaceful life. It can also completely disrupt your mental clarity.

Good old fashioned spring cleaning can be a great way to declutter your mind.

If you can’t understand how a cluttered space can affect your mental state, imagine trying to find something in a crowded, cluttered closet or junk drawer in a hurry. Or trying to make an elaborate meal in the kitchen is a disaster.

There is a subtle but very real stress caused by physical clutter.

Supports mental clarity by decluttering your physical surroundings and removing excess clutter from items you no longer need or those that bring joy or no use to your life.

2. Write it down!

It can be difficult to simply “stop thinking” when your head is swirling with thoughts, cycling through long to-do lists, worrying, and rushing through who knows what else.

A great way to stay mentally organized is to write down all the thoughts in your head.

Grab a pen and a notebook and transfer the cluttered thoughts from your head to paper. While writing itself is powerfully cathartic, knowing that your shopping or to-do list is written down can be mentally liberating and give you a greater sense of peace and presence.

Writing down what’s going on in your head can also help you process and make sense of vague, swirling thoughts and feelings. If you’re feeling a little mentally drained, try taking 15 minutes to write freely. all You’re thinking and all of that is going through your head. Notice how you feel before and after you write…you’ll notice a big difference.

This is not just “psychology”… some research It shows that journaling can cause significant improvements in mental and physical health.

3. Meditate

You probably knew this was coming, right? This is what meditation looks like The ultimate spring cleaning for your soul.

Meditation is about dropping into a space of mental peace and tranquility, resulting in a kind of powerful mental reset.

Regular meditation creates a gateway for soul truth and higher divine and angelic forces to reach and support you.

But of course…the more chaotic and cluttered your mind is, the more difficult and frustrating it may seem to meditate. Please stick to it!

There’s a reason meditation is called a practice, and it takes practice to really master it. And even if you “get there” and relax and consistently enjoy a blissful meditative state, there are still “those days” when your mind doesn’t fully close. off! That’s okay…focus on your breathing, call on your angels, and know that even if your mind is racing during meditation, you are benefiting from the intention and time you are setting aside to align. .

4. Move your body

When in doubt, go outside! Honestly, this is like a secret weapon. If you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed, getting outside and moving is a great way to clear your mind.

I like hiking and gardening, but honestly it doesn’t really matter what I do. The key here is to get outside and move your body in some way.

Exercising your physical energy is a powerful way to clear your mind, and nature is a great ally for this, but walking on a treadmill or even spinning on a stationary bike can help you mentally declutter. very helpful.

5. Existence of the natural world

Nature is magic. Spending time in nature is a powerful way to clear your mind and refresh your energy. Nature offers many gifts, including relaxing, restorative and rejuvenating effects.

Surround yourself with nature, clear your mind through its presence, and practice forest bathing, using all five senses to simply observe, experience, and enjoy the beauty and magic of the natural world around you.

I live in the forest, so when I want to refresh myself a bit mentally, I sometimes go outside and listen to the trees, the sky, and the earth.

Spending time at the beach, by a lake, or even just watching the rain or snow fall can give you a great sense of mental clarity. The key is to allow yourself to be fully present with nature. Nature’s wisdom can help you become more mentally focused and clear.

6. Have a cup of tea in a mug

If you’re feeling a little mentally drained, have a quick “spiritual tea ceremony” to get yourself back on track.

Relaxing tea in a large mug (lavender, chamomile, ashwagandha, tulsi tea All are great options to help relieve stress.)

When making your tea, try to stay there with your tea and be fully present in the moment, rather than running away to do something else. Check in using all five senses. Become aware of what you observe within and around you, becoming aware of the somatic sensations of the air on your skin, the earth beneath your feet, and the sounds around you.

Stay in the present moment while your tea brews, and when it’s ready to drink, hold the mug close to your nose and inhale the warmth and blissful aroma.

Feel the warmth, taste the flavours, feel the energy, smell the aromas, tune into your gratitude for these small moments of joy and presence that a cup of tea brings. Presence is the opposite of mental clutter, and a relaxing mug of tea can help you return to mental clutter.

7. Take a social media detox

If you’re feeling stressed or emotionally overwhelmed, check in with yourself to see what your recent media and social media usage is like.

When you use social media, your mind gets confused. Research shows that feelings of loneliness and depression also increase.

If you’re feeling a little tired, consider deleting social media apps from your phone for a little while, even after 24 hours.

You don’t have to stay away from social media forever, but it’s especially true if you feel like you’re being turned on by other people’s posts… you’re experiencing FOMO or comparing yourself to other people’s social media highlight reels. If you are judging reality, take a break Step out of it and reconnect with what is most important to you in reality.

8. Observe your thoughts

There is an interesting phenomenon that I would like to share with you. When you set an intention to observe your thoughts to reflect on whether they are more positively or negatively focused…your mind has a way of taking the best actions. Masu.

Normal mental consciousness is naturally drawn to negative thoughts such as judgment, worry, and fear.

Mindfulness, or starting to observe your thoughts in the present moment, is a great way to change your natural state.

Be careful what you think and how you speak to yourself and others. Notice when you’re negative and instead of blaming yourself for it…shift.

9. Single task.

We definitely live in a multitasking society. Do you often find yourself working on multiple things at once? This is very common, but it’s also a quick way to clutter your mind and increase stress levels in your life.

Instead of boasting about your multitasking abilities, practice “.”single task”, or very simply put, choosing to be fully present and focus on one thing at a time.

For example, if you’re making dinner, be present and make dinner. Allow yourself to be fully immersed and present in the process. Feel, smell, and tune into the subtle energy of the food and the magic of the moment.

Let go of everything else you have to do while you’re cooking. And once dinner is finished, let it go, put it away, and then focus fully on the next task.

10. Talk About It

When things get emotionally overwhelming, talking about it with others can be incredibly helpful and healing. If you don’t have someone to talk to freely without judgement, consider finding a good therapist or counselor who can provide you with a safe space and an ally to talk things through.

We often hear the phrase “talking is cheap,” but when it comes to dealing with challenges or letting go of something to mentally declutter, talking to someone can make a big difference.

keep it simple

I hope these tips help you clear your mind and declutter it. The goal here is not to stop thinking completely. Rather, it’s about acquiring some simple tools that will help you cultivate presence and clarity in order to live with greater joy and love and truly thrive in life.
