Westman Atelier Holiday Sets 2024

Westman Atelier has some beautiful holiday sets this year, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them over the last month. I ordered 3 sets on release day and they were really perfect for my recent trip. I used all the products during my weekend trip in New York and also in Miami Beach the past few weeks.

These sets are quite a splurge, but there are also holiday sales and discount events coming up. If you haven’t bought one yet, or have your eye on one of these, be sure to add them to your Sephora sale shopping list.

I’ve already seen actual swatches of all three on Instagram Reels, but I promised many of you swatches and reviews here. The three sets I chose are: I really like that it includes some new shades.

I have to say this year’s award for best holiday packaging goes to Westman Atelier. I love the variety of colors in this year’s limited edition, with pink and green undertones. • Je Reve It’s a mauve blush nude. It’s a little dark for me, but I think it’s a very pretty shade.

I rarely wear red, but I love the red in this set. I like that you can get a soft, flushed look just by applying it lightly to your cheeks. As a matte, this formula is top notch. It’s smooth, very creamy, and doesn’t leave any flakes. It doesn’t look or feel dry, but leaves a lasting velvety finish. I think so for the price prada lipstick There are better formulas out there, but Westman Atelier performs better. Mascaras aren’t the most practical because of their size, the wands are a decent size and can definitely coat your lashes, but mini mascaras in general aren’t really my favorite. I love that I can pack it in a clutch or small pouch if my makeup bag space is limited.

I still think this is worth the splurge. Below, I have bubbles + toast on my cheeks and bubbles on my lips.

I ended up liking this year’s one. Baby cheek blush stick petit trio More than expected. The existing shades come in 3 colors and I really like the size and the variety was perfect for traveling. I used all the shades on different days.

• petal I think this is a shade that I’ve seen in almost every set and I think it’s very flattering and goes with almost everything
• poppet I was surprised because it’s a very intense bright pink, but it blends very well and has easy to control pigment for a fun holiday pink

I have mixed feelings. I like some of the shades and can wear these in cooler temperatures now, but most of them are too emollient for hot, humid climates.

Pau de Sante It’s not new, but it’s still exclusive to her website. It is pink gold that gives off the most beautiful shine. I think it’s much better than her Peau de Rose because it has a warm glow to it.

Peau de Peony is also exclusive Westman Atelier website. Many of you have expressed interest in this and I’m sorry it took so long for you to post a review. Peau de Peony is a really beautiful cool pink sparkle. The color itself is really nice, but on my olive-medium tan skin, the contrast and finish of the product makes it a little too cloudy. If this was in powder form, I would 100% wear it. I gucci glow powder gel highlighter in frost lilac Although they are similar, I think the pink in Westman Atelier stands out more. (Gucci’s is on my Sephora wish list.)

I think it would work if you layered some powder on top to reduce the shine, but the overall impression is that it’s a little too cool-toned, a little too shimmery, and a little too contrasty for my current skin tone. , But I’m going to keep playing with it.

There’s a lot to love about Westman Atelier overall. I think she made some great sets this year. I thought it was her miniature brush set It looked great with the new holiday colors, but I didn’t really like any of her full size brushes so I decided to pass on the mini brushes. It was too small to be practical and didn’t come with a set. A travel pouch or case to store the brushes (the box doesn’t seem travel friendly), and the price seemed too high to me.
