Valentino Beauty has launched a new plump sheen called The Pufflip gloss ($38 each; Nordstrom and Sephora). I received some shades on PR and picked up three as the shades looked really nice.
These are pure to medium coverage, but some shades have more coverage than others. The plump effect is quite visible, and although the sensation of tingling and pricking was strong, I lost the numb lips and was able to wear these without any problems.
On the Tingle scale 1-10, rating these as 7.5-8 as if to stab. They aren’t as strong as YSL or Charlotte Tilbury’s, but they’re still as strong as I feel. If you have sensitive lips, we recommend that you proceed with caution.
I think the colour is really beautiful. From the shades I tried, there was only one person who wasn’t a huge fan (mainly because it was so pure).
Wear again:
00R Amazing Mermaid A thin, sparkling holographic shade, this was almost obvious on my lips
_____
300R of my shining age It’s so beautiful, I wish there was a little more pigment, but I love the sparkle and sparkle of the rainbow pink
_____
302r extra pink It’s a bright baby pink cream, I think it’s flattering and really pretty, I’m on the mission to find lipstick of this colour now, as most baby pinks are too pastel for me, but this is perfect
_____
103r should not be so nude A pink nude rose with just a slight sparkle. This pulls thinly so it looks like my lips, but I like this in its pigmented gloss and lipstick shape
_____
122a Warm Up It’s a rather milky brown toffee shade with a slight glitter, but the glitter doesn’t really appear on the lips
_____
Overall I really like them. They’re stab/tingling, so I don’t know how often I reach for them Lip Primer Underneath it acts like a buffer between the lips and the product.
