The Merit Holiday Set is here! I picked it up Mini Flash Brush Balm Trio ($39) and Archive Lip Essential Gift Set ($52). Both are currently available Sephora. You can see both working here and here If you need a live demo.
Archive Lip Essential Gift Set
Archive Lip Essential Gift Set There are three full-size lip items with a new Mauve shade called Archival. This set includes signature lip light weight lip blush, signature lip sheer lip liner and colored lip oil.
The pencil and lipstick both pull me a very cool tone. I wasn’t sure they would work for my skin and lip tone. And the gloss really pulls the whole look together.
merit Signature Lip Sheer Lip Liner It’s very different from other liners on the market. It’s like a shiny crayon in the shape of a Lipliner. It’s certainly unique and lovely for those who like the minimalist look. I love how they slide down their lips and have that shiny finish. The lasting power isn’t as long as Matt, but I think it’s really interesting.
The lip blush has a very lightweight feel. It’s a subtle type of lip product, but the pigments are still very good. Even if it’s matte, the texture is smooth. This is very different from the others Signature lipstick. I tried their lipstick when they fired, but I wasn’t a fan. They felt a bit waxed for my preference, but since many of you love them I might give them a different look. The new lip blush in this set is like a diffused matte lip colour instead of the regular lipstick. I’m still a shiny lip enthusiast in my heart, but I like the texture and finish of the blush on my lips.
Lip oil Perfect for subtle colors. These pull the pure sides for me too, but I really like them on the lipstick, adding dimensions and glow. The texture is very thin and does not sticky. Also, due to the thin texture, it doesn’t have long-term power, but when paired with lipstick or liner, it stays for a long time.
In this post, I shared a demo of Lipliner and Oils in this post in April. I don’t think I’ve blogged about these, so I saw the shades I have so I can see the new archive tone next to the existing colors.
Mini Flash Brush Balm Trio
I had these mixed feelings about Merritt Cream’s blush. Because they are usually blatant and thin on my skin, so I was looking for this year’s reviews. Mini Flash Brush Balm Trio Set. This year is definitely a transition year for me, and is significantly dry, due to our migration, aging and skin changes. Since we moved I’m still in the process of finding a dermatologist, but it’s drier so I can wear more cream.
I think these are super cute, but I still think that the skin is too exposed and creamy for my taste. They are quite fun for the flash of colours. If you’re interested in creamy blushing like that light shade or its exposed look, I think you really like it.
I can wear these for a night out, but I probably need to put them on top with a powder blush to set. For blatant creamy blushing, I think Dior’s behind the scenes rosy glow blush stick is better. For something less blatant Victoria Beckham’s cocky gorgeous cream blush stick or Westman Atelierwe Beach A better option (for me).
Le Bonbon is bright but lighter in pink
Redux is a tan shade
Postmodern is a wine-colored berry-like stain
I love the look with these blends outs. The satin or semi-matte finish is 100% perfect for me.
If you look at these, I hope this review will be helpful! You can find these now Sephora.
