Walking red carpets, running a hugely successful beauty brand, modeling products, and marrying a pop star are all fantasy-level events for most of us. Heck, I can’t even imagine how amazing her bathroom is. But it turns out she does a lot of the same boring beauty rituals as the rest of us while she’s there.
Bieber makes getting ready or not getting ready feel super cool thanks to the sleek and stylish image that comes with her Rhode products. But if you’re imagining the model-turned-entrepreneur slathering it all over her face in slow motion, or applying balm to her lips and glide it on to perfection, you’re probably right. But that’s not all. And it’s not that noble.
Over the weekend, Bieber took to Instagram to share a recent photo of himself on a merry-go-round, but before getting into any particularly juicy topics, he starts with a photo of himself resting his face on a baby’s head. And its face is adorned with familiar accessories. It’s a pimple patch just below the hairline.
Four slides later, a selfie of another pimple patch was taken. This time around, it was the jaw area that I especially relate to (at least for me, at this very moment). (Hormonal breakouts, right?)
But that’s not the only low-key self-care ritual Bieber shares in this adorable photo dump. I slide in again and see her dozing in the car with what looks like a floss pick hanging out of her mouth.
We don’t think Lorde will be releasing floss picks anytime soon, but we can’t help but wonder if the cute hydrocolloid patch Bieber proudly wears reflects the soft launch of a new skincare product. And if I know Rhode, it could also be used as a sticker for a Rhode lip case.
