When I just returned from Savannah in July 2023, I noticed that my skin was very sensitive and irritated. There were some small pea-sized bumps For the bikini line, armpits, and under-breast areas. At first they didn’t matter to me. I thought my skin was reacting to the Georgia heat. I have also dealt with ingrown hair Forever – I’m a person of color and have naturally curly hair, so it was normal for me to have a few bumps here and there. At first I didn’t tell anyone about it because my friends and family always yelled at me. pick my skin. I thought the problem would go away after a few days.
But within a week, the bump had grown to a quarter of its size. When I showed it to my mother, she thought it was strange. That’s because the mound was hard and sensitive to the touch. pus A few days later, it started appearing near my groin area. I thought maybe I had accidentally contracted a skin infection while traveling.
Around the beginning of August, the swelling disappeared. I was relieved, but a few weeks later I noticed new bugs appearing in my armpits and groin area. Some were about the size of a penny, others about the size of a quarter. I attended another friend’s wedding in mid-August. The discomfort was so bad I mean, I couldn’t even dance. I don’t even know how to explain this feeling. It felt like my skin was stretching every time I moved. I ended up leaving the wedding early because it was incredibly painful and it hurt to walk.
